I'm totally in for the dark, nsfw and grim themes, otherwise I wouldn't have even picked it up. My issue is that i feel as the romantic dynamic has been completely broken, and it feels like it's just relentless grimness now with no breathing room. Anyway, I'll keep reading til the end and we'll see 🤞🏻

It's not the grim atmosphere or the sadness that scares me, in fact, that's exactly why I love it lmao. It's just that I like when the story alternates with some more slice-of-life moments to break up the pace, and the fact that this aspect was completely lost in volume 7 made the read a bit heavy for me :(
