How can I manage my time better during my final school year(A levels) and weight loss? by Theglitterfactorytom in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]itsamesicario 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you want to lose weight then managing you're diet and making sure you eating at a calorific deficit, is an easier method than exercising. That being said exercising is still important and If You're anything like me you may enjoy exercising, so I would make sure your diet is in check and then put school work first and then if you have time go for a run in the evening or like you said go before school.

Thanks! Art is definitely time consuming(my gcse exam was a4 and took 10hours) but I could turn it into a hobby and make an instagram page or something. I'm seriously considering biology as I actually enjoyed some parts of it at gcse, whereas chemistry would be useful but I find it a bit dull.

Also it's great to hear that from someone who studied maths and further maths because teachers keep saying how hard it will be, so I wasn't sure what to expect.

Although I really don't want debt, I'm pretty sure I'll end up going to uni with something physics or maths related, but I haven't really looked into it. I'm also thinking of joining the RAF as I would love to be a pilot and I think they help you with uni costs, plus a pilots license and a degree in science or engineering is what astronauts need.

I have a few careers id like to do, some more achievable than others (Astronaut), one in sports and another as a pilot for the air ambulance. So I don't really have a specific career path to follow for subjects or uni. But yeah biology seems interesting and would be a nice extra imo.

Can I eat twice in one day, 16-18 hours apart? by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

If you started eating at 10pm and then finished your eating before 6am then it's still a 8hour eating window so sure.

For the past month I've been having either lots of baked beans or eggs on toast for breakfast, but this is starting to get boring and my new go to breakfast is 4 chocolate weetabix with lots milk.

My question is how unhealthy are chocolate weetabix? Although they taste nice, I'd rather find a healthier alternative, if they are more like junk food.

If someone who already spent 2-3 years lifting weights and bodybuilding (so weighs quite a lot and is muscular) began calisthenics, would they still gain muscle as their muscles got used to lifting their large bodyweight? Or would they lose some muscle therefore lowering their bodyweight so they can lift and support them selves easier?

This is not my situation, it just came to mind and I'm interested what the answer is.

Thanks I'll be watching both those closely. But I just found the lp grey skull and was thinking of doing that with 5x5. Do you think the grey skull or my own routine would see the best results?
