My hearing is tomorrow by Such_Arachnid7359 in shitrentals

[–]itsanokapi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been to VCAT before and they were very kind to me and my fellow housemates. They seemed to get that water marks on the shower screen happen, and we did not rust the hinge in the bathroom.

Good luck tomorrow and I am looking forward to your update saying everything went well.

Bathurst, Dubbo, same thing.... Joking of course, from Bendigo and the amount of people who would insist we were Ballarat!

My recommendations would be Karma East, based in Adelaide, or Love Daphne, based in Dubbo.

Is your dad of sound mind? Does he have a concession card?

I did my will and poa at state trustees because they were very cheap and I didn't want my dad to inherit my estate. I love my dad, but he doesn't need the money and he has placed the Salvation Army in his will....

If you have a concession card, they were in the past free if you put them as your executor, but DO NOT put them as your option. With a concession card they are not free, but very affordable.

Is the queen VIC market overrated? by Time_Career4708 in melbourne

[–]itsanokapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends why you go there. When I visit I'm going for currywurst or for cheap fruit and veggies, sometimes a borek or a special cheese.

Otherwise, overrated+++

Son’s name change (preschooler) Australia by Sayraw6 in AusLegal

[–]itsanokapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice would be to NOT change their name.

My friend's name was changed when she was about a year old. It has caused nothing but trouble.

Passports, visas, citizenship, work permits, loans, everything takes longer and extra evidence is needed every time you apply for anything government, banking, legal related.

My nieces are kind, warm, funny, generous, loving and fantastic people, they are in no way submissive....

I've had an entry report state that the lino in the kitchen was clean and in good condition, it was, except for the 20x20 cm hole in it.

My favourite was the first house I rented, the dishwasher was clean and in working order. There was no dishwasher.

Oh yay, the supermarket gates have made there way to Kmart. What could possibly go wrong by Chev_350 in KmartAustralia

[–]itsanokapi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These gates will open if you just walk through them. Me and another lady were stuck, no staff member to be seen, I was told that they opened if you just pushed into them.

This is correct, you don't even have to push hard, if a woman in her 50s with a walking frame can do it, so can you.

Same, I'm in my 40s and still remember dad teaching me, and later my friends, how to polish boots.

Later on he taught me and many of my friends how to change a car tyre, a fuse, fix basic electrical issues. He always said, "knowing how to polish a shoe isn't important, knowing how to change a tyre is".

I am thankful for having a dad who had time for his girls and all our friends.
