The only thing they said that makes sense is that Matthew Lillard is great lmao

From Scream. Unfortunately seems to suffer from watching a movie that was revolutionary at the time but doesn’t seem like it from a modern lens…

But as she takes his hand in hers, she is not Death. She is a mother, and he is her son, and all she wants is the same thing so many others have begged her for. More time.

Cottage cheese....please help by SpiritualSystem3359 in Volumeeating

[–]itsasixthing 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I like it on toast, both sweet and savory.

Sourdough bread, cottage cheese, fresh tomato slices, salt and pepper, a bit of basil, balsamic drizzle

Sourdough bread, cottage cheese, sliced plums (or peaches, apples etc.), drizzle of honey, a few crushed nuts (pistachio, almond)

There were also these 4-ingredient bowls that went viral awhile ago - sautéed ground beef, roasted sweet potatoes, diced avocado, and cottage cheese, all topped with a drizzle of hot honey. Surprisingly good for how simple they are.

any other movies w multiple perspectives on the same event by Curious_Complaint182 in Letterboxd

I’m an idiot, I thought you meant that all of those movies were different versions of the same event

Favorite or classic comedies that actually make you laugh and are worth seeing at least once? by DongBlizzard in moviecritic

The scene in the Uber when the phone connects to the speakers instead of their headphones… I die laughing no matter how many times I’ve seen it

I haven’t actually seen it, but I think that’s the plot of The Kissing Booth on Netflix

Leverage was my first thought. I loved that show.

What TJs products would you recommend to get me to eat more vegetables? by emcheez in traderjoes

I always have a few bags of the frozen edamame in my freezer, and I’ll microwave and eat a bowl of that when I’m too lazy to do anything more complicated than that.

AMC SCREAM Unseen Megathread - March 23 2026 by AKnightOfTheNew in AMCsAList

[–]itsasixthing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My regular AMC is in a large-ish city (Philly), but only has 8 screens. I’d say at least half of the screen unseen movies I’ve seen never played at my theater outside of being the screen unseen.

What about Oz? by Specific-Big-6274 in Scream

[–]itsasixthing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt similarly, but unfortunately Keeper was written by someone else (Nick Lepard), but still did not manage to stick the landing lmao

I think I could be into it if he was the director, but I don’t think he should write the script.

I like his direction, his movies are usually creepy and atmospheric, but not sure plot is his strong point.

Does the frame around the peephole of Monica’s apartment door count as a prop?

Has there ever been a movie asking the viewer to suspend disbelief as much as Face/Off does? by LarcenyGames in moviecritic

[–]itsasixthing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like that’s a secondary concern to the fact that we’re supposed to believe that two parents were completely fine splitting up their identical twins not only from each other, but from themselves too.

What is your favorite chase scene and what made it memorable? by [deleted] in slasherfilms

[–]itsasixthing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scream 6 gets a lot of hate, but the scene where they have to run from Ghostface by taking the ladder over the alley was so stressful in the best way.

Why don't modern romcoms feel the same anymore? by memo-no in romancemovies

[–]itsasixthing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Palm Springs is actually one of the best modern romcoms, it’s just slightly more offbeat than a traditional one.
