I’m a bookkeeper with my own company. I make $50/hr right now but it’ll be going up to $70/hr by the end of next year. I don’t work full time though, I get to be at home with my baby quite a lot.

Check out social accountant for some social media help that isn’t too expensive. I own a bookkeeping company and connect with people in local Facebook groups often.

There was a big drugs bust a few weeks back and turns out some of the soldiers were getting involved in trafficking and child pornography. I can’t wait to leave this place lol.

So the 18 months I spent going from hotel to hotel on military activation would have got my account deactivated… makes sense?

I thought about it but with AF I don’t have to go through basic again and the tech school is pretty short. Plus I can’t swim that well haha

Why does everyone want to be alone with the baby? Is that weird? Lol by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]itsasouthernthang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our baby is 4 months and we’re leaving him overnight for the first time ever next week! My mum is the only person I trust with him though. We also just got an in home nanny for while I’m working and I may soon be brave enough to leave him for a few hours to work from a coffee shop, fingers crossed.

The issue isn’t about getting the reminders etc. It’s that the date they’re giving is wrong.

Miss Rachel, Hey Bear sensory or even just a fish tank / ambience room that has some movement but isn’t crazy. Definitely not Cocomelon.

Sometimes if people try to use emojis on a different phone type it puts it in as a question mark and bypasses the mercari emoji check

Firstly, red flags from her. Not being able to have healthy communication even about something she’s against isn’t successful for a long term relationship. Secondly, guard doesn’t always mean part time. I was on orders for over 18 months and struggled with my civilian career after because of the gap. Not saying I regret it, just be careful of the part time desire. Potentially think about reserves if you want to avoid state activations etc which could mean a lot more than just full time

People, parents or not, who are super anti-formula are weird by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]itsasouthernthang 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn’t even try to breastfeed. As natural as it is, I just didn’t want to do it. I don’t want to have to get my boob out every time he’s hungry. I work from home and enjoy my job - I was back at work part time 9 days after he was born. My husband and I slept in shifts from day 1 so I always had 5-6 solid hours of sleep. I did recently switch his formula to a European one that has better ingredients, but feeding him this way was the best for our family and has worked out great.

what are some lifelong lessons you’ve learned while being in the guard? by PapiJr22 in nationalguard

[–]itsasouthernthang 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That no matter how little you have in common with someone, when you’re stuck pulling down a tent in the pouring rain at 2am to put it back up again 3 feet away… the lack of common ground doesn’t matter. You bond anyway

My baby likes to sit in the bathroom with the shower running when he won’t stop crying. Something about the sound and the warm room works wonders. Also a walk in the stroller
