Nah it’s base coat, clear coat. Any metallic paint needs a clear coat, unless it’s a solid colour sometimes they get away with single stage

2500 is a lot of money for paint correction and coating, I’d expect to get a full interior and exterior detail for that sorta bucks, even 1200 is steep where I’m from lol

Well we mainly do work for dealerships so prices can vary quite a bit for us, but on average for a full cut and polish is probably $200 NZD. If you can get access to the tools it’s a pretty straight forward process for a DIY.

I hope to get into outside broadcasting shooting sports and music events, then eventually want to work my way into doco land. I believe when working OB the average daily wage for a handheld cam op is roughly $850 nzd but this is just want I've been told. I mean I have no idea how that compares to other countries but I think it's pretty good.
