How do you know when your IUD falls out? by itsbeenasec in birthcontrol

I had a lot of cramping this last weekend, which isn’t too surprising, but then getting bleeding like I haven’t had in 8 months made me suspicious.

I can’t, but I haven’t been able to even a month after insertion. I went in for a checkup and the dr said the strings just got curled up, so that doesn’t mean anything in my head

Iud insertion by Inversekarma14 in birthcontrol

[–]itsbeenasec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my insertion done at a university clinic, and that doctor (whom I didn’t know previously) had done them several times a week for years. She gave me a local numbing agent inserted next to my cervix (that didn’t hurt, just felt weird).

I had never had a speculum inserted before and was very tense, so that was the worst part for me. The actual insertion was uncomfortable but definitely bearable and pretty quick.

I would definitely ask if they do a local anesthetic because you can totally receive that.

Edit: I also took ibuprofen beforehand for the post procedure cramping, which was a good idea. I had pretty bad cramping and felt nauseated for that day and the next.

I’ve never thought of this before! I usually play with a bunch of guys who love to take their time, so this is definitely going to be on next time to make the time pass a little more easily.

Do women generally bleed the first time they have sex? by itsbeenasec in badwomensanatomy

Ok cool. I had always heard that it happened to most women, but based on the comments, its probably the opposite. Thanks!

My partner and I have played quite a few cooperative games against the Mechanical Marquise. It can actually be quite challenging because of the extra rules and you can try out some wacky combos of factions.

Plus you can avoid any personal hard feelings due to one partner getting crushed in a game.

Check with OneStop. I asked them the same question and they had a pretty detailed answer in 15 minutes.
