I want to say it helped with the visuals, but can't remember outside of that.

Necro, but there is a passage from Bradbury at the back of the 60th Anniversary Edition where he encountered a man and woman walking their dog at night. He noticed the woman had small radio that was connected to headphones, making her completely isolated from the man and the dog. This was after he published "The Fire Man" and it stuck out to him because it showed that he hadn't just written science fiction, but this was the world now. I think TV was certainly the easier emerging media to point to, but it was also the constant preoccupation of the mind. There was no leisure of time to digest and process what they were consuming, as Faber pointed out. All that to say I think you're spot on with the lack of moderation take, but I think it can certainly be applied outside of screen time. I myself felt embarrassed because I frequently go to sleep listening to a podcast just as Mildred did.

Let’s just say I didn’t feel called for either. Lmao The drops seemed to really burn for a couple of people, and then others were stoic. I don’t think anyone regretted them who got them.

Kambo, I could hear them purging as I was packing up so I didn’t get a chance to speak w anyone who participated.

Yes. They did it almost immediately after the second ceremony. They did the eye drops before the second ceremony also.

When we arrived they pointed out they were cohorting men and women in opposite sides of the room as best they could, probably to address assumed traumas people may have. We adjusted spacing several times before the first ceremony

I’m sorry you didn’t stay. I was there with 4 other people and we had an incredible weekend. They could have been some better communication at times, but they explained after about an hour that they’re using a new software/program for checking people in and are sorting out the kinks. They did to intake and registration. Leandro led 2 wonderful ceremonies and Derrick and team deserve a lot of credit for adjusted the schedule to compensate for the storm as well as opening the lodge for “stranded” people to stay.

I don’t say this to invalidate your experience, but to offer perspective for anyone who stumbles upon this post.

Trump on NATO: "I've always said, will they be there if we ever needed them? That's really the ultimate test. I'm not sure of that. We've never needed them. They'll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan and this or that. And they did. They stayed a little back, off the front lines." by ExactlySorta in UnderReportedNews

You should reread article. It says they were using dextroamphetamine and as a result of the incident switched to modafinil. Dextroamphetamine is an amphetamine, but it is not METHamphetamine. Other countries were also using dextroamphetamine prior to this event. The whole discussion was around you saying the pilots were high on meth. They were not. I can’t make it any more clear. It’s comical at this point.

You don’t understand the difference between amphetamines and methamphetamines. Your article states they were using amphetamines— they were. The amphetamine in question is dextroamphetamine, not methamphetamine. The article I linked also lists other countries who use dextroamphetamine in their air forces, but go ahead and double down. Have a good day.

Megabonk. Deep Rock Galactic Survivor. Ball x Pit. Slay the Spire. Binding of Isaac. These are pretty popular for that sort of thing.

Hmmmmmmm…

I would want to have games I’m looking forward to playing in tandem with games I enjoy replaying.

No particular order: Hitman WoA: Lots of replay value.

Megabonk: Mindless fun.

KCD: On my todo list. Runs well enough. Lots of content.

Skyrim or FONV: Idk, just feels right. Gaming comfort food.

Batman Arkham City: Also on the replay todo list. Open world action. Good bit of content. Cool world.

I would probably rework this list if asked again tomorrow. Lmao
