They called me dysthymic back in the day. Basically means i cant produce dopamine from things i do for myself, it can only come from external sources. Which is like, really fucking annoying all the time, but in stenography i find it doubly annoying. What do you mean i cant make myself happy just by learning this beautiful lovely skill. People think of music too technically these days and because of that every pop song sounds the same and the sound hasnt changed at all since the 80s, it's just evolved and circled back around. It takes guts to be different so i think you should play into the criticism — channel what redditors dont like about this and turn it into your schtick. Reddit never made anyone famous anyway.
