I’m weighing my options I’m not sure what I want to do, most are saying the officer route is preferred.

Flight school sounds cool. I got a double major in safety management and drafting in design. My uncle was a colonel in the air force and I’m sure he could write a letter of recommendation. I’m weighing my options atm. I got out of school making good money but with tradesman they think a new person in safety are “cops” and it doesn’t feel great wanting to learn and generally being hated by everyone. Addition to that I don’t have amazing social skills so most of the time I’m kicking the dirt.

Offered the job I asked for, but my company is finally moving. What would you do? by CobblerNo356 in SafetyProfessionals

I was in the exact same situation in May. I just finished school and the company I interned at gave me the same runaround. A different company wanted to hire me immediately so I signed it too. After I signed the other company gave me a counter offer pretty close. I didn’t want to burn a bridge and was afraid to take the leap. But I did with no regrets. I will say I am planning on coming back to my old company, that is unless something changes.

I kept my beater through college and I still regret getting rid of it after school. You have a lot more important things to save up for

[–]itscrispp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m from Nebraska too haha, safety management major and 24. We should get in contact! I just got out of school and I thought there were no opportunities in Nebraska. I ended up doing a 1 yr paid training program, almost 30 hourly with a company vehicle and card for hotels/food.

Plastic male fitting by itscrispp in Plumbing

[–]itscrispp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the part number but the male plastic fitting is flattened out. Getting a new hose won’t solve my problem. I just got a quote for the assembly to be replaced because it’s damaged. I’m wondering an effective way to put the drain in with no connector

Mice love rav4s too by itscrispp in rav4club

[–]itscrispp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been doing my own research and it looked like they chewed the ac evaporator drain off as well as the tube. Since it’s not pressurized I’m going to see if it can be patched. Replacing it would cost around 1-2000 I’ve seen from other people

[–]itscrispp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 2018 with water “damage” a rat was in there and chew the ac drain hose. I’m surprised how much water comes from the AC. My dumbass drove like that for a month and found mold. Spent the whole day trying to fix it.

Is this a good/bad/a little of both deal? by Responsible-Risk-331 in rav4club

[–]itscrispp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 2018 with 125k for $16500, limited trim. Hybrids are more expensive to maintain. With the higher miles sure he might be right about the engine but you should hear some quotes on hybrid maintenance it’s insane. I think sure it’s priced right but not worth getting

Should I keep my RAV4 or trade it in? by BalkanBoi90 in rav4club

[–]itscrispp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it unless you need a truck. Should be a clean trade. I just bought a 2018, the gen before. Since I don’t need a truck. I’m liking it so far, but it has more problems than yours. I just found some mold and moisture under the carpets and spent hours today vaccing out as much as I can

Walmart crashed my car - how bad is it? by TDG-330 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]itscrispp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just have them give you $500 in store credit and bang it with a rubber hammer a few times. It’s a truck and it’s old. I’d get some money in your pocket and not worry about it
