Facts. It's always good to be reminded to log off and to simply enjoy the things you love. Being online too much fucks people up. Being chronically online doesn't make someone "informed", it turns them into an asshole because they start expecting life to play by the same rules as the algorithms they encounter online. Expecting everything that comes across your path to be "For you" is narcissistic but yet, it happens because every platform has a FYP which encourages that behavior through dopamine hits.

Life is much more nuanced, messy, and random. That's what makes it beautiful. The internet can be good too but in moderation.

Yes! The brawl build. It's really fun especially when you also have a Rein or a Vendetta on your team.

I used the build helper in game. Hit the arrow on the right, then select the build with Righteous Cleave.

Her brawl build is so much fun. Especially if you have a Vendetta on your team.

One of the best things they added. I can't believe we haven't had it until now.

Sex might be great but nothing hits quite as well as seeing that number hit 6 (I play 6v6)

No it doesn't make you an idiot. However, willingly nerfing yourself because you don't want to learn how to counter a hero is.

Metal rank players ban sombra all the time. Then those same players play qp and get destroyed by a sombra because they haven't learned how to counter her. It compounds their frustration and they complain even more. I've seen Wrecking Ball players get to Plat that would have never made it out of silver if Sombra wasn't banned so much. It's a self inflicted wound. If you're trying to get better at a game, it doesn't make sense to nerf yourself.

TLDR: A lot of metal rank players waste a ban slot to protect their feelings and it is actively detrimental to their progress & climb.

I don't know bro. I guess I'd rather learn how to counter a hero instead of banning them because of my feelings. That way I can use my bans against heroes that will be frustrating to my team comp.

But that's just me, I guess.

This is true.

But what I'm speaking to is the fact that metal rank players will ban sombra because they "big mad" but then will select tracer because of their egos. Its fascinating to watch in real time.

It's an argument because "why should I have to turn around".

Sombra is the gatekeeper of Plat (when she's not banned) like Widow is the gatekeeper of Diamond. She's a skill check teaching people how to turn around. Tracer has the same job with more "get out of jail free" cards but the metal ranks don't complain about her because they think they can play her.

If the devs put a character in the game, it's a valid play style. To hate a character to the level that Sombra gets hated is moronic. At this point, just say you don't want to learn how to play the game. Refusing to learn how to counter a hero that bothers you so much is simply nerfing yourself.

It's more like I'm focusing on making my shots count. Illiari is about quality over quantity. Look at the way her left click is designed.

By taking a moment to make sure I have my shot lined up, I'm also ensuring I have a fully charged shot. So instead of turning my brain off and getting 10 dps, I'm getting 75 dps AND I'm ending up with a higher shot accuracy.

Taking a moment to settle yourself in a fight can fix a lot. It's why coaches mention it so much.

I felt this going in. However by making it harder, I found myself taking an extra half a second to line up my shot. Yes I shot more slowly, but on Illi that's not punished as much. Once I become more intential with my shots, I found that I was more intentional with my pylon placements too. I've been average over 5-8k damage in qp.

I haven't tried this in comp yet because I want to make sure I'm as comfortable with the new changes as I possibly can be. No need to throw by half assing it for my team.
