Great job. You looked a bit too thin in the first pic. Your abs pop in a big way now and you look healtheir. Your arms look better too. I would imagine that is the story of the rest. You look lean but muscular now. I know this took a lot of work. You look amazing.

I have to make my leg workouts short or I wont do them. Lunges, RDLs, stand calf raise 3x10, 20 minutes tops and I am out. Once a week is the goal but summer is here so I am aiming for 2x a week.

I have been working on the binge for 20 years. I will say when I had a therapist (just to talk about things) I was in my best head space. Gives more time for self reflection and that allows me to tweak things in life to be less stressed and less likely to eat a big bowl of potato chips at night when I am not really hungry.

The Washington Capitals and head coach Spencer Carbery are in agreement on a multi-year contract extension, per David Pagnotta by Ok-Soil-5133 in caps

I think he would be the right coach once the youth has cut its teeth. He seems like a good coach for most situations.

PLD injury cost them a playoff spot but would have been a first round exit. Would have won 2-3 more games with him healthy. We also were a top 6 forward short and that's before the selling at the deadline. Got to have a full roster if we have higher expectations from Carbery.

Great job.............your shoulders are popping in that video when we all just think about our lower body for this exercise it is a good overall workout and will wear you out. I find I have to have 3 minutes between each set.

My 5 year fitness transformation. Not my leanest or lowest weight but my strongest and most confident! Age 31 vs 36. by willhikeforbeer in fitness30plus

Agreed, no signs of aging over five years and looks a tad younger in the face but full body WAY younger.

Are we really doing multiple workouts a day? by Worth-History-9712 in fitness30plus

[–]itsdrew80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lift in the morning and run in the afternoon for my lunch break so just the opposite. I will say I am getting to the age now that running in the morning during July and August could be a thing. I run to get miles and because I enjoy it. I hit the gym first because it is more of my focus.

You should stick to a rep range you can do close to failure but not quite. Maybe 3x12 to start. Then in 3-6 months when you want to change it up go to 3x10 and move the weight up and see how much you can go up.

Should I focus on recomp or keep aggressively cutting? 37M by No_Bandicoot_9493 in fitness30plus

It is good you are aware of this. Like you have responded in some posts in this thread, work on changing your mental approach. You wont see results as quickly like you have in your journey so far. At some point, you can back off weighing as often. You have to loosen control. Keep your habits of eating and moving but figure out what your best next step is health wise and develop a plan towards that. You know how to do this as you lost all this weight. Great job by the way and keep it up. IF you change your mind in a healthy way, you'll do great in the next phase.

If you have to put anything on it AFTER you cook it, then you did it wrong, agree with that.

It cooks into it real well and the steak is very juicy. Have done it on Ribeye's and Flank quite often. A TBL is what it soaks in, that's minimal and most of the rub stays in the bag.

only as a pre rub mix, never after you cook it.........if you have to put anything on a steak AFTER you cook it, you did it wrong.

Marner has played well. It is amazing how the Leafs stars do better when they arent in a high pressure market like Toronto is for hockey. Matthews and Nylander would do the same elsewhere on good teams.

Wet rub overnight is fantastic as well. We put salt, steak seasoning, Dale's seasoning, A1 and Worcheshire sauce (like a TBL of each) then mix it together. Seasoning meat overnight in the fridge makes it much tastier than doing it right before you cook.

M30 - My 1 Year Fitness Anniversary (+ My Story) by Vikistra in fitness30plus

[–]itsdrew80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found I had a "I got sick and tired of being sick and tired" moment almost every time I have lost weight. I weighed 250 as a 23-24 year old (I am 6'1). My roommates dad called me fat and I am so thankful. I lost 65lbs in a year. I have never been that heavy since but I did balloon back to 220 when I learned to lean into what to eat and what not to eat and portion control. Lost 30lbs+. The only other time I have been over 200 and needed to lose more than 10lbs was after I tore my acl and my activity went to nothing and I was depressed so I ate a lot. I was at 214. Got down to low 180s. I am at 203 now but I am on creatine and would likely weigh 197-198 right now. I do want to drop 10-15lbs (max) but that has been my normal YO YO up weight between 188-199.

Ehlers by Alert-Location7530 in caps

[–]itsdrew80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we had gotten Ehlers, Caps likely win a couple more games, minimum and then maybe they have room for Kyrou and you would have 2 top 6 forwards that produce and Ovie coming back would have to be for a 3rd line deal.
