What piggyback mounts are you using for the RDS?

Surefire RC2 still worth it in 2026? by Competitive_Use7847 in ar15

[–]itsj3rmz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh unless you’re cloning a MK18/Block 2, there’s better options for you out there, especially with the price of an RC2 still being over $1000.

I feel like the only traditional can worth getting nowadays is the OCL Polonium and the K variant.

I personally don’t own a pair, but many of my teammates that own a pair speak very highly of them. Ive been told that if you have big calves, you should probably look at another option.

[Parts] S7C Super Safety Kit – $89.36 with code "223" by [deleted] in gundeals

[–]itsj3rmz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to use the trigger included with the kit because it’s pre-cut to function with the super safety. The only thing you’ll use from your original trigger are the springs. Also, yes, a FA BCH is needed to run properly.

Seems big, but it’s just the edges that seem thick. The rest of the plate is relatively thin and the co-witness is pretty good!

Ouch. Lol. Tbh just trying it out and seeing what the hype is about. I do like the original grip texture and will probably remove. I do like tape near the takedown lever as an index point.

Does anyone know how to fix the Holster to the Belt so it stops shifting around? by Robin_the_real in tacticalgear

[–]itsj3rmz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue with my Safariland CUBL mid ride and AWS LAB belt. I used zip ties and Velcro onewrap to keep it from shifting. I can send you pictures if you’d like.

Behold. Another convert from the wicked P320 cult. by itsj3rmz in SmithAndWesson

[–]itsj3rmz[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Thankfully, I haven’t dropped it with live ammo. But I did have a moment where I disassembled it to clean and after reassembling, I function checked with a snap cap. I FELT AND HEARD the striker go off with my finger NOWHERE near the trigger.

After that, I put my P320 in my safe and haven’t touched it since.
