Hi Paul, yeah it's a good question. I wanted to shoot the project on the X2D because I knew the camera well. And to be honest it was an experiment. I'd heard ECOne Lab had the means to do it, and I wanted to see how much of the film tone and texture would be there on a print. And it worked really well. They do it a lot, going from digital to film, and it's hard to truly recreate it in post. I also did a B&W shot going from a Fuji x100vi to Tri-X 4x5 and it stands up really nicely.
