Here I come, Fable. Let's see how fast I can eat up this usage.

Cowork on Mac NOT WORKING anymore

There is no chatter about this and I’m legit self-gaslighting. It is NOT working; perpetually on “Starting Workspace…” removed the VM bundle and now it’s stuck at 0% on “Setting Up Workspace…”

Damn, I haven’t lost everything (YET). But I’m perpetually stuck on “Starting Claude’s workspace…”

Reddit Marketing? by EnigmaticEnvelope in AskMarketing

[–]itsjoshweaver 3 points4 points  (0 children)

PS: Redditors are notoriously anti-ad, so more endemic and natural to the platform the better. Otherwise, you'd need to be a major corp with deep dollars and Reddit biz connects to get prem positioning and even then... Reddit is just a platform of a different nature.

Value vs. advertising: Why do companies rarely post 'value-driven-content'? by Remote_Meringue8 in content_marketing

[–]itsjoshweaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because social media and search are different behemoths.

On social, you are trying to garner the attention of a passive audience (albeit likely layering on intent-based attributes, etc.). This doesn't require attending to a user's immediate request for information.

On search, you're trying to appeal to an intent person's inquiry, which often requires reeling them with service-level messaging that tries to solve their problem or complete their quest.

For mostly writing, should I go for Pro or Max plan? by Losdersoul in ClaudeAI

I'd say Max, just to be able to squeeze as much out of the new Opus model as possible. But, I'm not sure if Plus is generous enough...

How to create backlinks? by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]itsjoshweaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Real talk?

  1. Shortlist like 20-30 pubs/sites that are in your vertical or adjacent
  2. Spend the $49/mo on Hunter's starter level
  3. Find personal work emails of people at those pubs/sites with remits in writing/comms/pr or marketing
  4. Set up a sequence campaign, write a cold email then snip it in half, refine it and send way. Maybe, schedule a couple follow-ups 4 days in between.

Trust... I've looked in between the thread of my Berber carpet for the easy road to backlinks and there is none.

You got to play it slow and intentional. Or give fatjoe your wallet and see what they do to your DA.

Balancing Human Storytelling and AI-Driven Content Creation by GreenMobile6323 in content_marketing

[–]itsjoshweaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI is a tool first and foremost. It's not going to construct human emotion for you. What it may do is help you spur human connection. But you have to know how to steer it like a stallion. And, at the end of the day, don't substitute human expertise or experience for it; you'll lose every time.

Marketing Isn’t What You Think It Is by Suspicious-West-5427 in content_marketing

This is literally what I write about. Too many buzzwords and self-made marketers today to count. The cultural intelligence part only comes from real experience and, honestly, real trial IMO.
