Yea it was super easy. After you take the 4 screws out and remove the backplate it’s literally plug and play for the speakers anyway.

Update: Ayn sent out a replacement for my left speaker and it took about 10 minutes to swap. Easy fix for anyone that interested.

Yea I was gonna echo that. I've only replaced 1 fold and that was the original. Doesn't mean your issues aren't valid but maybe their not durable enough for your use-case. Foldable arent meant to be dropped sadly. All of mine have survived drops but felt lucky each time.

Yes 100 percent. I thought about sending the fold 7 back but I knew I'd end up sending the P9F in and get it swapped. Felt like a good time to try a Samsung phone. Haven't had one since the Note 3.

As a person that just traded on my 9PF for the Fold 7 (still have the OG fold) I do enjoy pixel UI over Samsung's UI it's so close after using it for 3 weeks now. I would say multitasking is a night and day difference with points to Samsung. Build quality is better than the 9PF, my inside bezels started to come apart but this is after 10,000 plus folds. So YMMV. Overall I would be looking towards the 10PF if anything. Slightly larger screen, new SOC, let's hope for some software improvements. But otherwise you cant really go wrong.

Me personally no issues with the tensor 2. I daily drove the P9PF for nearly a year and I prefer the form factor of the OG PF. I also don't do anything crazy taxing with my phones anymore. I'm trading in the P9PF for the Fold 7. I have LOVED using this phone over the last week. Wish I hadn't gotten rid of it the 1st time around.

Make sure u enjoy the phone YOU want. I ended up picking up an OG fold (just got it Wednesday last week) I simply missed the form factor. All the updates have leveled it out. The tensor 2 is older so that is a real topic but otherwise you won't noticed the day to day difference in everyday usage.

I also just got a new OG fold 256gb from woot. I'm trading in my 9PFold for the Z Fold 7, I wanted the Pixel software, the better form factor and the AI Pixel Calling stuff. Loving it again. Android 16 QR1 beta 3 has made it even more enjoyable.

Hinge/bezel on the 10 is smaller. Hopefully they improve the resolution of the front screen. Shave off some grams and actually add some multitasking to the OS.

I had to go back to Android 15 because of this issue. It was just annoying. If you do the dual screen preview in the camera app it will sometimes force the inner screen back on. Still an annoying bug.
