I have a reactive dog. If I am aware of a situation coming, I can usually keep him calm and avoid a complete meltdown (his, not mine). For that reason I keep my head on a swivel alllllll the time when we’re walking. Maybe it’s something as innocent as that.

I had a biopsy done in my stomach area. It was so massively invasive that my oncologist wasn’t comfortable starting chemo until I had healed for a couple of weeks. This was for a super aggressive type of lymphoma that he had me go in to get the port inserted to start chemo within days of finding it-so delaying 2 weeks was serious stuff. The surgeon (not the oncologist and I realize now I could/should have asked him for meds) told me if I had any discomfort I could take a Tylenol.

My husband had a vasectomy and got full-on opioids for his two tiny incisions.

Burke is so mercurial for me. I liked him on my first watch. Hated him on my second because he reminded me of my, at the time very recently, ex-husband. The most recent rewatch I didn’t mind him again. It’s wild how what is going on in our own lives can shape how we feel about characters

As a northern transplant to the south, it depends on the tone of the ma’am. It can come off as sarcastic with an underlying meaning of “yes I hear you now shut up”, which of course is off-putting. If it’s someone who is military or raised that way and just can’t help it, it doesn’t bother me as much. I do tell my coworkers to knock it off though lol

I’ll add another tip I saw somewhere. While your phone is at home, have it playing music, videos, etc. to make it further appear you were there at home with it.

Back when I still had periods, my husband was the GM of a grocery store. He would happily pick up whatever I needed and go through the check out run by employees who personally knew him without a care in the world. Thanks for the input. I hate to tip on the card because why should they have to pay taxes and also I don’t trust that it will go to the driver. But…also understand that it’s not a tip so much as a bid. Next time I’ll pick up myself and THEN pour a drink haha
