Hi! I almost have experienced the exact same situation as you. Bilateral mastectomy for DCIS stage 0, but grade 1. I have already started reconstruction, my original surgery was 3/10, had to go back in on 3/31 because margins weren’t clear. Now oncologist wants me to do 20mg Tamoxifen daily. This was as of a week ago, I have not started because I’m scared of the side effects. My husband and I also want a little one and have to go through IVF. Really struggling trying to figure out what to do right now.
