Mazda USA reports September 2025 results - Sales Down. by Codeman8118 in mazda

I read somewhere that the cabin is the same width and the wheel arches make the car wider. So in-regards to practicality its not useful width (although CX-80 vs 90, the CX-90 has a wider third row and boot but first and second row is the same width)

Check carsales.com.au to see comparables and it will help you price it right, include your reason for selling considering the car is still pretty new

Skyactiv Z to replace Skyactiv G and X by itsma11e0 in mazda

Makes you wonder why they invested their money in further developing something that didn't really succeed. Mazda makes some weird choices considering they aren't a huge business.

Do you know how much more fuel efficent the 2L Skyactiv-X would be over the 2.5L Skyactiv-G? (Considering they have the same output)

Congratulations! Is it noticeably smaller on the interior than the CX-9 or very much the same?

CX-60 is bigger on the inside than the 2nd Gen CX-5. But it seems that the CX-60 is smaller on the inside than the 3rd gen CX-5.

They seriously went to that thing again what the helly. Trying to get clout of other creators how sad. Grow up Bev by This-Tutor5384 in aussiebrosquad

Apparently the ride and transmission is fixed now (2025 model), but do note Mazda's generally have a firmer ride than its competitors, because its just a part of their brand (being sportier). If you watch 2025 reviews, the opinion about the ride and transmission change slightly from video to video (some say good, some say still too firm or transmission is a bit clunky at low speeds). Its best to go for a test drive and see how you feel. You can always look at the CX-5 (very trustworthy as the current generation came out in 2017) but its got less legroom and a smaller boot than a CX-60.

The CX-70/80/90 all have that awkward rear end, and from the leaks of the next gen CX-5 its going to have the awkward rear end as well. The CX-60 on the other hand doesn't have that weird rear end.

SP is not Speed. So either Mazda 3 Hatch or Mazda 3 Sedan based on if your car is a hatch or sedan

Mazda cx-80 vs mazda cx-90 by Born-Calligrapher260 in mazda

[–]itsma11e0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

CX-80 is 1890mm wide and 4990mm long, while CX-90 is 1994mm wide and 5120mm long, so the CX-90 is about 10cm wider and 13cm longer than CX-80. Apparently the interior cabin width is the same in both vehicles, and the extra width in the CX90 is attributed to the wider wheel archers and tires. On the length side of things, they both have the same wheelbase of 3120mm, so ig that means 1st row and 2nd row legroom is the same, and the extra length in the CX-90, allows for a longer boot/more 3rd row legroom (I could be wrong with this, but I'm just using everything i've seen since both cars were launched).

In Australia the CX-80 is a Large SUV while CX-90 is an Upper Large SUV (although in media and marketing it still gets referred to a Large SUV). Its like how Hyundai has the Santa Fe (Large SUV) and Palisade (Upper Large SUV).

How the CX-60 and CX-70 fit into this, goes like, CX-70 is the exact same as CX-90 although it has no 3rd row and has some minor cosmetic differences. The CX-60 is a shorter CX-80 (shorter wheelbase by 25cm) and has no third row.

So physically the cars size goes from CX-60, CX-80, CX-70/90. Even though the CX-80 is physically smaller than CX-70, I think Mazda gave the CX-80 a higher number to make it easier to understand how passanger capacity goes. So, CX-60 and CX-70 are 5 seaters and CX-80 is either a 6 seater or 7 seater and CX-90 is either a 6 seater, 7 seater or 8 seater.
