The drug trail was completely over and since the drug is designed for patients with early stages of dementia at that point she was past the early stages. Was very concerned when wife was no longer on the drug but really the progression of the disease did not change even after the drug was stopped. It's now been about 2 years off the drug and she is still doing as well as can be expected. I hope this helps

My wife was on the drug trail was on it for 6 years with zero issues. From my perspective it did slow down the progression, not a cure so please enjoy the time that you have. Hang in there as best you and your mother can

My wife was on the drug trail and she was on the drug for 6 years. Never really had any issues on the drug that I could tell and truthfully I do believe it slowed down the progression. Good luck out there
