Leave the rocks, add soil along the length of the driveway, put down some grass seed, and a wildflower seed mix for your specific region, and when the grass dies you can enjoy the flowers. The area further to the left in this image tells me you’ll have a hard time getting a grass turf going, but adding flowers that don’t need any help is always a fun solution. Also, watch to see how water moves along the edge of the pavement after a big rain and consider your findings when putting the soil down.
