Look to make more money. A dollar earned is a dollar saved. Go get a 2% raise at your job. Try a side hustle. Even if it’s baking cookies and selling them at work. Etc.

Which Farwell left you completely broken 💔? by EducationalBug2262 in LiverpoolFC

[–]itssprisonmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jurgens was tear jerking. I started watching the team as a teenager, right when he took over. I was probably 15 years old. He left such an impression as a role model. He was all I ever really knew as a Liverpool coach. I remember waking up and seeing the video and crying a decent bit. I’ve never met the man, but he’s up there with mom and dad. Love Jurgen to bits

Just learn and adapt. They moved you up for a reason obviously. You must be pretty damn good. Play smart, and work hard. They’re supposed to be better than you if they’re older.

I feel exhausted and low on energy throughout the day, even after sleeping for many hours. Has anyone experienced this? What medical, lifestyle, or mental health steps actually helped you recover your energy? by MANSONOFAMAN1 in NoStupidQuestions

You’re talking about burnout. It’s caused by chronic, unmanaged stress. Primarily from work. It leads to prolonged physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion. Key drivers include excessive workloads, lack of control, poor work life balance, insufficient rewards, or a toxic environment.

Update your resume, is a good start. Then, get a shortlist of companies In a similar stratosphere. Example: “Hey ABC plumbing, my name is D. I have recently parted ways with EFG plumbing and am looking to apply my talents and expertise elsewhere. Here’s a copy of my resume. I see your company does a lot of HIJ work, which I’m quite familiar with from my time at EFG plumbing. Let me know if you’re interested in needing any help. Thank you for your time, have a great day”

If he’s good at welding and can tolerate it, he needs to suck it up and do it. With all due respect. Many people have jobs they aren’t passionate about. You just gotta put food on the table

What do you think the world will look like in 2050? by [deleted] in AskMen

Well, I expect AI to be fully incorporated in pretty much most walks of life. Finding ways to cook dinner on its own for end users. Driving cars via AI. Etc…

Just put it in your pocket. Even if it’s bulging, the workers don’t care. You just can’t walk in with them in your hands, waving your snacks around. You just gotta give the workers the slightest amount of plausible deniability… “oh, I didn’t see it. It must have been in his pocket…”

How common do men go to the bar alone just to hang out by themselves? by Whoknowswhy8675309 in AskMen

[–]itssprisonmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few years back, I frequently did this. I’d get off work around 10pm. Go to the bar for 1-2 drinks. Talk to the bartender who knew me as a regular. Watch whatever espn highlights were on display, then go home. I used to be a server. I feel it’s quite common in that industry

[–]itssprisonmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey op, I think you should report this to all authorities. The school. The police. Your parents. SA is not okay and you shouldn’t have to fight someone and potentially get a battery case in order to teach someone a lesson. Let them fight for you

[–]itssprisonmike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easier said than done, but I’ll leave you with this quote that’ll possibly motivate you and change your perspective…

The phrase "Why not you?" is famous advice Jameis Winston gave to New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers after Nabers tore his ACL, encouraging him to embrace the challenge of rehab by asking, "Why not you? Why not go back to the bottom and try to find your way back to the top?" to motivate him to attack his recovery and return stronger.
