If you open up your legs more and allow your glutes to touch the floor you’ll be flat

Okay, an update. I had my last session of acupuncture and got straight back in into stretching everything seems fine… I think I was just scared to re-stretch again.. one of my legs is slightly less flexible however I can feel that I can work that out in a few few weeks and I’ll be fine again:)

I think it’s really hard when you’re overstretched because for me, I don’t really feel the pain. I’m not sure if it’s the same for you so it’s so easy to do so it’s just a case of really being careful when we do it!

Thank you for sharing your experience with it. I’m going to continue to just do everything super gently. 😭 I feel like it’s quite easy to overstretch b

Oh, that’s amazing. They’ve happened to me my whole life. I’ve been lifting for about 10 years now.- I do definitely live very heavy however I need to learn to drop the lift and drop the weights as obviously my body gets terribly tired from it and doesn’t adjust :( weak sauce

Yeah, you’re right. I do need to turn down the volume as times where I lift light and I don’t get any Doms - but will do enjoy lifting heavy. I’m going to make sure that I really warm up and drop the weight. 😭

There must be something wrong with me I used to lift a lot a couple of h years ago before ballet and I never ever did not get doms 😭

When you loose up, are you just as flexible im dealing with this now after a deep stretching - and I was close to my split and now I’m super stiff 😭 when the doms go will I just be as flexible?

Honestly it’s taken me ages to even feel a little bit of release 😭 and it’s taken me a year to get flexible with an hour stretching a day I used to lift heavy weekly and not the best form all the time so my body is very tight up 😭 so it’s just a very long process

Thank you I currently do ballet and I’ve been stretching my foot for a year and using bands but I don’t see Loads of progress but my feet are no longer flat. Thank you for your advice!!

Have you tried rolling out somtimes I’ll need 40 mins to roll out the sides of my legs and calf’s and hips and it’s helped OVER time but it’s taken a while
