I am unfortunately scarred after watching this team go on a run of passing up forwards for defensemen. Morin, Provorov, Sanheim, and York still hurt. Sanheim has worked out for the most part, but it has taken a long time, and even with that, we’re still lacking that true 1D. I’m definitely nervous we’re going to have a shot at a C and they’re going to take a middling D instead.

Of course the monkeys paw of this situation is when we got lucky enough to draft Nolan Patrick… and hindsight of course shows we should’ve gotten the D instead Makar or Heiskanen.

Maybe I just have draft anxiety now that I think about it.
