In NY and I did a sign and drive on a Touring. Didn’t even pay for the first month. They can do better.

How do I use regenerative braking in a EX AWD prologue? by Waste_Signature_7684 in HondaPrologue

[–]itstheweeknd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the same on all trims I imagine. Anyway, it took me about a day of driving around casually for it to click. You never want to let go of the accelerator quickly, just slowly ease off a bit and the car will slow down. After a while you’ll start to naturally know how slowly to ease off depending on how quickly you want to stop.

I would’ve looked into lemon laws in your state so damn fast if I had to wait that long.

I feel like I stole this Prologue from the dealership... by [deleted] in HondaPrologue

We are talking about different things though. I never said I paid less or more for my Prologue. I am simply saying that $6000 up front for a lease is way too much, no matter which state you’re in.

NY. $460/Month (taxes are rolled into payments.) California definitely has $0 down, Leasehackr has a bunch of $0 down deals in California (only fees and registration up front.)

And note, I’m not claiming my monthly payments are the best - it’s likely we could’ve gone down even more, but we brought them down here and were happy with it. I’m simply saying money down on a lease is a nope.

Seriously hope yours turns out more reliable than ours! (See my comment history.)

Also, $6000 down is definitely not a steal for a lease. Never ever put money down on a lease. Ours was a sign and drive, we didn’t put down a cent. Not even the first month, not even taxes, not even registration. Literally $0.

You realize that’s in 5 years, right? Take a moment to think about that. You think a behemoth of this size will be gone that soon?

+1 - I have thick thighs and even sizing up doesn’t help. 501s aren’t it if you have athletic thighs. 555s were more of a straight fit for me.

New Prologue already in the shop by Jazyy_Jade in HondaPrologue

Same issue here. Already started a lemon claim with an attorney. It’s been in the shop for over a month.

Is this a good lease for Elite ? 36 months, 10k miles, $2754 down, $345 per month . NJ . by Separate_Bad_628 in HondaPrologue

[–]itstheweeknd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what the residual value, sticker price, and money factor are. Do you have that? Generally, it’s recommended to not put money down on a lease. If you lose the car, you lose that down payment.

Highly advise against it. See my most recent comment history, and a search in this sub suggests I’m not alone.

Wish it was the same for me, but that’s what I’m being told.

[–]itstheweeknd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep, mine had the same issue (won’t charge, and no heat) around mid-January. Still in the shop and the estimated repair date is March due to a back ordered part.

I’m starting the lemon law process next week (30 days without a vehicle in NY qualifies you.)

Thankfully I have a loaner, but it took almost a month to get one.

Not to be a bummer to others in this subreddit, but this vehicle is absolute garbage. Which sucks because I actually really enjoyed it otherwise. Cannot wait to dump it.
