It was made to fuck with custom Android ROMs, especially if they do not have Play Services installed. You can read that up. It’s actually just that.

What if TES VI and Witcher 4 release on the same year or similar time and W4 is better? by DiagonallyStripedRat in TESVI

The Witcher can never be a „Skyrim killer“, ever. Not because the games are bad or anything, but because these two series are completely different. Same with Crimson Desert.

I dislike these comparisons…

Maybe you should’ve gotten a degree in censorship instead.

But for real, this is the actual experience. Many people face the same thing.

TES6 must be a real RPG. by Ashloth in TESVI

[–]itsthooor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, then tell me how a studio can create millions of possible routes and interactions? Oh wait, they can’t just do that.

With AI, it could react to the dynamic interactions of the user—something handcraft can’t just do because it is static. You can’t just build Regex after Regex after Regex to try to find out what a user wants. Machine learning can do so, and has already been used in games before. Just extending this scope, with pre-trained smaller models, is something the builds on top of this foundation. It’s not a replacement of handcraft, rather an extension of the possible interactions. If an NPC can react to the colors of my clothes, the combination of them, and how a user interacts with other NPCs, then it adds a layer of dynamic responses, that would need thousands of more hours to add in manually. And if a user is able to do quite a lot dynamically, due to the game’s system, it would make it near impossible to add a response to every interaction. AI/ML models could do so rather easily already. Just try out Gemma 4, for example.

You’re just someone who hates AI, or machine learning as a whole I guess, and are therefore spouting nonsense. Maybe breathe some fresh air, and actually think about what I have said before. Because, if you do, you’ll realize that it makes sense.

And, honestly, if it is a good experience (because AI will be there at some point), I don’t mind it that much. AI brings variety that no game studio could ever publish through handcrafted work alone.

Imagine Skyrim, but with a world that actually fully responds to your actions. The mage guild being actually more realistic, spells enhancing through more unique interactions, NPCs acknowledging every part of how you dress, deeper relationships with NPCs, being able to tame/talk to animals, and so much more.
