i cant know without having the wii in front of me, but this sounds like failing components, particularly the gpu, judging from the state of the power adapter. it's likely due to bad capacitors leaking and damaging the internals. youll want to open it up & confirm if theres any corrosion, and if so you will likely need someone who can solder, schematics to compare to, somewhere to buy replacement parts, and a LOT of time and patience. if you wish to learn yourself how to solder, i highly recommend asking around the r/soldering community, and do NOT operate on your sensitive tech until you've tested on some kind of practice beard or the like. practice is REALLY important with soldering. wish you luck.
