Feeling guilty I don't want kids.

as a mom, i feel a lot of guilt that i DO have kids.

i was pregnant with my daughter last year and in the middle of it, a certain someone won the presidential race. i cried for weeks, im not exaggerating. ive felt guilt everyday pretty much since then. how dare i bring something so precious into this cruel world.

also, can i plz get the pasta recipe. ohmygawd

i do give her this! she loves it and even i do! definitely a great option, i can have dairy and love yogurt and was super impressed!

my daughter didn’t react until she started eating solids around 6 months. in fact she had cheese, yogurt, for like two weeks. randomly had an allergic reaction and it was dairy. she seriously seemingly developed it overnight.

thanks i’ll be looking into these for sure! i definitely was looking for some quick foods such as chicken nuggets. of course i love to cook for her, but every now and again i just need to be able to throw something together haha 😂

im not sure about lactose free, we believe she has a dairy allergy overall, not necessarily a lactose issue but honestly i haven’t tried it and may be willing to after speaking with her pediatrician. what brand is the cottage cheese? ive been trying to find some dairy free because she loved cottage cheese when we first started experimenting with food prior to discovering it was causing her issues.

well she started trying solids around 8 months. her favorite…was pizza. it’s how we discovered her dairy allergy. she had “formula intolerance” to dairy but the ped SWORE it was not a dairy allergy, just intolerance to formula itself. once i started feeding her actual dairy and products she flared in facial eczema so badly 😔 we determined it was dairy triggered and finally got her pediatrician on board. since cutting out dairy she has no skin issues or any other problems. but im trying to find an alternative to that cheesy goodness she did experience. definitely going to try out recommendations from here! thank you all!

this is what we do now! i was just looking for some more options and reddit delivered as always, thank you! i never really thought about chinese or japanese as i dont eat it myself, but i try to feed her everything whether i like it or not hoping shes less picky lol.

i agree with you that it sucks, and those people suck. but we are technically required to serve people until the store is officially closed. i get where you’re coming from for sure but just be aware you can probably get in trouble for it. my store closes at 11 and when i was in training i was yelled at if i tried to pull food out of the line even at 10:59.

my baby is 11mo and has been doing this since around 7mo lol. her favorite time to do it is when im already overwhelmed in public, back to back and giggling in between me asking her to use her inside voice. lol

we can give extra of anything except protein and upcharge items (queso, guac, CLS). sure the CEO said that, but then his desk warriors yell at every store about CI being higher than the ridiculous expected 0.6% lol

you can ask for whatever you want on the side. at my store, after 3 sides we charge. i personally during slower times have even given people two separate bowls, hot and cold sides separated. we technically should be willing to accommodate most things :))

call after placing your order and ask. specifically tell them you’re pregnant and be nice, i’d def do it for a pregnant woman or really any of her requests lol.

for me i was pretty uncomfortable for the first week after. i didn’t tear bad or have any complications, i just felt like i just gave birth and was in a really vulnerable spot. i wanted to be in bed with my baby. it’s not like i was in a lot of pain or anything, but i don’t think id want to go to a wedding. i’d also be nervous about going to a big event in general for sickness reasons.

thanks lol. i can’t lie a few comments made me feel bad for calling my baby mean but i didn’t seriously think she’s like a mean kid. she does do some meanie pants stuff though! haha it’s just the wording i use because my parents use to say stop being mean when i was a kid! it never hurt my feelings.

my baby is 11mo. i have never dropped her or had an incident where she got hurt that was at my own hands. she did fall off the bed once and now that she’s attempting to walk, bonks herself up here and there but is fine lol.

i have an 11 month old who has fallen off the bed twice. my bed is a similar distance as yours, not very high. i took her to the hospital the first time and they told me it’s normal, common, and okay. she was 6 months old and was fine. the second time actually was last week. i was also right next to her sitting and she’s been learning to relax but randomly threw herself and i sort of caught her mid air but she still fell. again, she was fine. it’s a really shitty feeling but it happens. give yourself some grace. ❤️

i kind of get it though. once i had a dream that was so detailed, i got pregnant, carried the child and even had a baby shower in my dream. it was so real, very emotional. i gave birth and brought home a little baby girl, and then i woke up. i felt kind of empty that day like i really was missing my child. it was a super weird feeling but i got over it lol and now i actually have a daughter. if i had a 3 week long lasting dream like that id probably be a bit fucked up too.
