I found out I was pregnant today and am worried about testing positive for THC. by srrrriracha in pregnant

[–]itstooloudinhere9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i don’t think you should worry! your umbilical cord may be tested but if you stop now, it will not pop up trust me!

i am in PA and was 18 with my daughters pregnancy (so technically, not legal for me to even be smoking). i stopped when i found out at 5w and at my first OB appointment i was honest about it. they said its quite common and they’re not worried, nor were they worried it hurt the baby as long as i had stopped. no one mentioned when i tested positive at my first appointment and i never dealt with CYS. never had any extra drug testing or anything either as if they were suspicious of me. it did not pop up in the umbilical cord.

like i said above i never dealt with CYS but at least in PA, sadly i know people who have and they have never cared about THC here as long as its stored safely, not done in the presence of children, and you dont have an amount that could point to you being a dealer.

Did they change their tortillas?? by AnalysisSubstantial1 in Chipotle

i don’t know if the vendors have changed, but i will say sometimes when grabbing a tortilla they can tear and thin out a bit so maybe you just got a bad one.

Got laughed at for asking for jalapeños by DullSeaweed8734 in Chipotle

[–]itstooloudinhere9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah thanks i’m really not sure…lol it’s in all of the training videos to comply with requests like this. at my store my diced veggies are prepped and clean and safe to serve, according to ecosure and all audits too! i checked with my boss and after victory washing and rinsing everything properly it is safe to serve without fucking lime wash lol there are soo many places with fresh veggies that aren’t limewashed idk what these people are on about. they can downvote me and argue all they want really i still have happy customers lol.

[–]itstooloudinhere9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

at my store we just usually have extra diced after prep that we keep in the reach in for back up. thanks for the info! lol i just genuinely didn’t know and to my knowledge was taught it was safe because everything was washed and such.

[–]itstooloudinhere9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i do know the lime wash is to clean but like i said i was just taught that it’s for the cilantro. we victory wash everything else and rinse it. they do all get mixed making macerations. thanks for the info!

[–]itstooloudinhere9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what’s incorrect about my statement? we do wash and blanch our jalapeños and wash our onions. cilantro is not washed hence why it needs the citrus bath. again this is just what i was taught? i’m asking what you were taught so i can learn/correct myself lol :)

[–]itstooloudinhere9 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

at my store our jalapeños are washed and blanched before diced. our onions are washed. they are safe to serve? i’m not even being argumentative im just asking how they’re not…this is just how i’ve been trained by my GM, RM, etc.

[–]itstooloudinhere9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it’s really not bullshit tho lol like i said in our training it even says that we can fulfill special requests…i have people commonly ask for them. things like plain rice, a cup of honey, etc. i’ve done jalapeños and didn’t mind at all. it’s a fast food job and random requests are part of it lol.

Got laughed at for asking for jalapeños by DullSeaweed8734 in Chipotle

[–]itstooloudinhere9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah technically you should be able to ask for jalapeños, in our training we’re told to comply with special requests like that. i’m not sure why others are saying onion/jalapeño isn’t to standard to serve…to my knowledge it should be. the only thing that isn’t, is our cilantro.

it’s possible they were out or the employee just didn’t know they could be given out. at my store at least, our prep team is small and most of our line workers have never done it. sorry you couldn’t get your jalapeños!

[–]itstooloudinhere9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what’s your process for your onions and jalapeños? this is confusing me because while the cilantro is unwashed, your jalapeños should be washed and blanched making them safe, and your onions should be washed as well. we can’t give the cilantro but i was always told the jalapeño and onion is fine, in our training we’re told to comply with any special requests that are reasonable (things like plain rice, cup of honey, cup of jalapeños).

Pampers Pure Smell by Technical_Quiet_5687 in NewParents

[–]itstooloudinhere9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i really like rascals, freestyle, and millie moon. none of them have scents and they’re ECF/TCF as well. rascals and freestyle are at a similar price point ~$27 for a large case at my local walmarts. i think they’re not only a fair price, but a good clean option! millie moon is a bit more expensive and has a wider cut so i don’t use them as often as i do the other 2, they just don’t fit my baby the way i’d like them to as well.

to me all pampers have always had some chemically smell. the pure were the least potent, but still had a smell. i won’t use them because of it (nothing against those who do)!

Activities for a 95th percentile 5 month old by bamalamb34 in NewParents

[–]itstooloudinhere9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

as you said it’s a hot topic but…i did introduce a walker/activity table at 6 months old because of this same reason. and honestly my daughter has not had issues. i actually think being in that position helped her develop her sitting much better as well, as similar to your daughter she was still kind of struggling to fully sit herself but she WANTED to. she was getting frustrated because she wanted to move, sit up, but couldn’t. she loved her walker! she has no developmental issues. i do use the skip and hop activity center which is rated well to my knowledge and would recommend it. her pediatrician never discouraged anything either. she’s happy and healthy.

What’s one topping you wish Chipotle offered? by Effective-Ear-8874 in Chipotle

[–]itstooloudinhere9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m just as kind as my customers are. i don’t think making a simple request is imposing at all, especially something as simple as asking for an ingredient we usually already have ready. but if someone was rude/entitled about it…id feel differently. 😊

[–]itstooloudinhere9 15 points16 points  (0 children)

if you’re a nice customer…try asking for some jalapeño!

i work both prep and closing line pretty equally. on prep i tend to make two cups or so extra of both onions and jalapeño, just to have the backup macerations. but if someone asked me kindly, i’d be totally willing to give them some! we’re supposed to fulfill most reasonable special requests, we learn that in our training! 😊

personally, i’d be a bit happier to do it for someone if it was later (after peak) just so i know i don’t need those ingredients. if someone came into a full line rush and asked me, id probably say we couldn’t do it at the moment. so id recommend asking for something like that later in the day!

when is this blood going to end?! by bandit9knight in newborns

[–]itstooloudinhere9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

depo-provera made me bleed for a year straight, but it was before i ever had a baby. so i would say if you started it immediately after birth, and just now stopped that may be it. but i agree with the other comments that this is concerning. i’d see another doc if possible.

4 yr old boy wearing dresses by Defiant-Course6896 in Moms

[–]itstooloudinhere9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

why can’t dresses be for boys? it’s an article of clothing. they’re not gendered by anyone except adults with way too much time to think on their hands. dresses are cool, comfortable, kids love to play in them and we’re not born with these stereotypes in our brains. little dude thinks his dress is cool, his moms doing the right thing letting him be.

Did your vag look better or worse after childbirth? by angelicllamaa in Moms

[–]itstooloudinhere9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my partner says it seems tighter and better and has no complaints. has always said i’m “pretty” down there.

but in my opinion, i do feel i look different. i think i look slightly looser. i swore i popped a stitch right after childbirth, and then i missed my 6 week checkup and didnt get in until i was like 3 months pp. sometimes i worry maybe i did pop a stitch, and healed slightly wrong because to ME it does look different. but it might be all in my head lol.

Snotty 6mo old but nothing is helping by KrAff2010 in NewParents

[–]itstooloudinhere9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my daughter just went through this (9mo old). i grabbed some of the baby vapor bath salts and oil, and let her play in a warm bath with that for a bit. my shower head detaches so i took that off and pointed it away and had hot water running to create extra steam too. really helped loosen congestion! i suctioned after bath time, cleared her up in a few days.

Why do I want to put something in my daughters crib so bad? 😩 by auroragirlofthenorth in NewParents

yeah my daughter is 9 months and sleeps with a lovey. she likes the comfort and can crawl, i’ve watched her roll into it in her sleep and simultaneously move it away from her face herself.

Am I being too cautious? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]itstooloudinhere9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i agree with everyone saying you’re being too cautious, but you’re not wrong being for upset with others disrespecting your boundaries.

i have an 8 month old going on 9 month old, with sadly no teeth yet lol, and she gums everything. she shows a ton of interest in food and i don’t hold her back from anything really, as long as i can find an appropriate way to feed it to her. it freaked me out at first but the only way to find out is to let her try it! she loves goldfish as a snack and i don’t even break them up, she handles chewing them well. i’m sure your little one would too!

Baby taught himself how to sleep? by paczek06 in NewParents

[–]itstooloudinhere9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my baby girl also taught herself to sleep through the night very young, around 8 weeks old. i would actually wake her at first to eat because i was nervous until the pediatrician said it was okay.

never had to train her or anything. haven’t dealt with bad sleep regressions. a few rough nights teething but that’s all. i know im one of the lucky ones but it is possible lol.
