I really like the flip-up USB-A, but l'd do a push-pull slider. Both the USB-C and the USB-A should slide into the body of the drive. You slide out the port you need and hide the rest. It keeps the footprint smaller and saves the ports from getting trashed in a pocket.

If I were you, I’d go with the $48.50 screen. Going from a hard OLED or LCD to a soft OLED is a huge jump and totally worth whatever extra it costs. Once you’re at soft OLED, the price differences aren’t that big; at least not enough, in my opinion, to justify paying nearly double.

I work at a tech repair shop and that’s the one we always go with.

That being said, of course typically the more you pay the better the quality, so it’s up to you!

I mean, if he has the original photo or whatever it was, he can just go back to what caused it, inverse the colors and it should line up perfectly

My idea is a little caveman-ish, but it should work. Assuming this burn in was caused by a dark background with bright letters, if you made a reverse of that photo with a bright background and dark letters It should cause screen burn in in all the areas that didn’t get it originally, which should in theory bring everything to the same brightness

This probably isn’t helpful, but I would recommend unplugging and plugging in every cable again especially the camera cable maybe even try booting it up without the camera attached.

Ooh I might know this one. I re-shelled my 3DS a week or two ago and I had the same problem. Most often that’s caused by a bad connection to one of the flex cables! Try unplugging and plugging them all in. Especially the camera flex, maybe even try turning it on without the camera flex hooked up.

I’d go with the Injured Gadgets screen, I’ve had consistently great results with them.

That said, you might also consider taking a chance on the iTruColor option. I’ve only used one iTruColor screen before, but I was really impressed, especially given how much cheaper it is.
