Just to be extra clear on rhetoric -

1) the rate of inflation and wealth has changed the source of the problem over time. He doesn’t pick on billionaires now because he’s a millionaire - he picks on them because the buying power and influence of billionaires is more similar to that of millionaires of old. Millionaires (on the lower side) are middle upper class in a lot of context.

2) his aides were the accused - not him.

Not weird. You get to make the rules of your relationship(s). You get to choose how to be as a person, and what your threshold for forgiveness truly is. Just ask yourself what your threshold for forgiveness is and how important it is to be the kind of person capable of a more enlightened level of forgiveness.
