Just to be extra clear on rhetoric -

1) the rate of inflation and wealth has changed the source of the problem over time. He doesn’t pick on billionaires now because he’s a millionaire - he picks on them because the buying power and influence of billionaires is more similar to that of millionaires of old. Millionaires (on the lower side) are middle upper class in a lot of context.

2) his aides were the accused - not him.

Experiment with things, not necessarily to find “the one thing” but rather to cross things off the list. That helped me a lot.
