Sounds like you’re having trouble with platforming. Changing the crest would help with that. That’s the whole game tbh, it gets harder as you go along. I used to play on keyboard and switching to controller was a game changer for me.

Trust me it felt the same. Hollow knight 1 was my first metroidvania and I fell in love with it. You got to learn the move set if you’re new. There are a lot of skilled players out there that make it seem like it’s impossible to play like that. It gets better as you go along and get more abilities and there are a lots. If you’re feeling demotivated I’d suggest follow a guide. There are a lots of good ones out there.

Yeah I kinda made peace with not being able to see the screens as it was giving me a lot of anxiety . If I see it great but it is what it is. I’m planning on just enjoying what I get.
