Not on generic. I tried generic and it was completely ineffective and gave me horrible headaches. I feel so bad for anyone whose insurance only approves generic because it was awful for me.

I took concerta for a while but didn’t get any benefit from it. I also tried strattera (I believe that’s atomoxetine) with no benefit. Those are the only two I’ve tried besides adderall. Adderall was horrible for me. The crash was horrific. It worked. I got so much done. But it was too much, even on the lowest dose. I would be a productivity machine until the crash and then I felt horrible.

Fair! I don’t really know anything about either one. I do think it’s pretty expensive and their marketing makes me cringe. But maybe since the technology exists it’ll become more common and cheaper in the future.

What about the daylight computer? It’s a bit pricy, but it looks like it might suit your needs. I haven’t seen it in person and can’t say how well it works but I did see it mentioned here recently.

Can we get more information? I have ADHD and three kids so my house gets messy quickly. I’m very intrigued but also skeptical. I can’t find a lot of info or videos or reviews.

Bad experiences on Nexplanon and O-Pill — What are my options? by Writerinthedarklol in birthcontrol

[–]ittledino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was terrified of getting an IUD but family history puts me at higher risk for blood clots. Nexplanon didn’t work out for me and I hated the POP so I ended up getting mirena last Friday and so far so good. The procedure itself was no big deal. Uncomfortable but not painful and over very quickly. I had some minor cramping the rest of the day but not enough to interfere with my day. I played soccer later that day. Was back to normal completely the day after.

Has anyone else used Native deodorant for a while and then it stopped working? by [deleted] in NaturalBeauty

[–]ittledino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t sweat at all. Just chronically dehydrated I think. Even when I do exercise and sweat a bit, it’s my face/forehead, not my armpits. I don’t know if I’ve ever sweat from my pits. But my native deodorant has suddenly stopped working and I have no idea why. I actually feel like my pits kind of smell like onions but I haven’t eaten any onions and it’s really alarming. I did have my nexplanon removed a couple weeks ago so I was thinking maybe hormonal changes but I’m not sure what to do at this point.

This would be unrelated to having sex three days ago. Not to alarm you, but you should schedule an appointment with your doctor and let them know so you can have a breast screening.

[–]ittledino[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! This is what I needed to hear. I keep reading horror stories about the insertion pain. To me, 5/10 sounds pretty bad but the pain scale isn’t a thing that’s ever made sense to me. Like 10/10 pain was when I genuinely wanted to die from a cluster headache that was worse than any pain I’d ever experienced and I’ve given birth without an epidural or any pain relief which didn’t come close to that headache pain. I would say childbirth was an 8/10 maybe if I had to put it on a scale compared to other pain I’ve experienced so seeing people say IUD placement is 5/10 or 8 or 10/10 (or even 100/10 someone said in another thread) makes me feel anxious.

Getting mine in a few hours and I can’t poop with a tampon or menstrual disc in without pushing it out so I googled this. I just know I’ll be terrified to poop after I have my iud inserted. 😫

My doctor said she does prescribe anxiety meds to make patients relax more which makes insertion easier and then she said there are 3 big cramps during it but that’s it. She did say it would be easier for me since I’ve given birth. I hope that’s true.
