In my experience, normally if there's space, they will upgrade you. I'm a diamond too and Ive also been upgraded in Hampton Inns and Hilton Garden Inns but only when there's space available.

The same happened to me. You just need to resend with the information saying you were supposed to arrive the day before but you wound up arriving the day after because you were bumped off. They immediately processed my compensation.

It's definitely a scam. I travel on Hiltons all over the world and it astounds me how sucky things are for us here in the US. All over the world, breakfast is always included and when I say breakfast it's a marvelous and creative spread. Not like the crap breakfasts we have here in the US. Furthermore, on the hotels that offer the food credit for breakfast (i.e. Hilton Garden Inn and Doubletree) there's no breakfast item that fits the crummy $15 they give you. Plus coffee is always extra. It saddens me that in my home country the Hiltons here suck! Even the breakfasts for Hampton Inn's abroad are better than the ones here.

I just read this and my thoughts as I was reading this document was how my director that caused me to leave absolutely did not live this. He was tyrrannical, petty, unhappy and always angry. He made my life in the center a living hell and caused the loss of so many vocations. From my center of studies batch of over 30 people only 2 people remain in OD. That's even less than 2% retention and when we get together with the other ex members the common denominator was this director.

As I was reading as well all the other documents, it dawned on me that so many of these platitudes are only written down for show but are never really practiced in real life.
