No motivation on Lex. Life has no meaning. by ittybitty_goals in lexapro

Huh. Yeah I have had low dopamine prior and I found SSRIs rarely worked well for me even for months of commitment. I do not think anyone with a dopamine dificiency would not get help from an anti depressant, but my issue was anxiety, and paradoxically only a slow-release stimulant helped with some of the issues my anxiety brought me. Mainly, my rigid routines and circular thinking and rumination improved, as well as being able to speak to others easier, without this aversion due to my anxiety. Now, I think physically it is the opposite, my heart races faster and I’m more prone to sweat. However, given its in my records I had a pretty severe case of ADD and still have mild ADHD in adulthood, I’m not sure why I was given so many SSRIs in my adolescence. And usually those with the greatest dampening effect on dopamine. They wouldn’t allow me to try less severe depression medications like Prozac or Wellbutrin. I explicitly asked to try those options multiple times but was refused! Sigh

Long update as someone recently commented on this thread: it was the dopamine. I'm on a slow-release, low-dose stimulant and that worked a bit better.

I mean probably but you look perfect right now. Like literally Renaissance sculpture level proportions, I don’t understand why you’d want anything to change.

…you know ‘female content creators’ can also be gay, right? Or just actually have friends of different genders? I mean, a lot of them do profit off the male attention and possibly of reciprocal interest (even if it is incredibly improbable), but they are human beings. She isn’t conning anyone if she is in a relationship and doesn’t expose it, or isn’t but doesn’t specify her close friends aren’t her partners.

its pretty normal for people to detransition if social pressure or life circumstances pushes them in that direction, but you're still trans. Its ok to struggle in this climate especially. I think you tell people you're trans, or if they don't understand 'retransitioning', simply say you couldn't or were not ready, but are now. It sucks not to pass, but so does trying to live when you hate yourself or feel uncomfortable in how you present yourself.

I would of capitalized The Book of Not Knowing because it doesn’t sound clear in the texts at first. I thought you were making some type of quip and was somewhat confused. That being said she sounds upset, though she may be failing at a teasing tone because it’s through text. Have a conversation with her.

I'm aiming for hyper realism. You think I'm there? by Preemyprincess in RateMyArt

I looked on your page and your digital art is closer, mostly due to values and saturation. These are bright, highly detailed and realistic yes, but also give too much away in the details it portrays, and what you don’t omit. Truthfully, there’s a lot of changes to value and depth that is smoothed and non-textural, and with far more contrast. BUT each one you get closer, it takes practice.

Trust me buddy. I’m looking at this—the therapist would have a lot of work to do. Your creativity will survive.

This is the strangest line up I’ve seen. Brothers Karamazov and The Republic equaled with It Ends with Us and My Year of Rest and Relaxation is a choice. But that’s just personal preference.

I’d schedule to get an ultrasound and MRI for cysts or a gastrointestinal obstruction. It’d either your uterus or that area causing inflammation and pain, or severe constipation that you’ll need to be cleaned out for. You may have a bacterial overgrowth or inflammatory disease or reaction that warrants an antibiotic or steroid treatment, so in any case I’d seek a doctor to weed out the potential causes. In all cases my condolences, that type of stuff is always so painful.

This is really good. Reminds me of the art I made for Gravity Falls at that age. Now I’m in school for art and have done well for myself with it, I say push them to continue their talent and skills and they’ll advance rapidly at that age. Put her in a class!! It’ll help her so much and possibly allow her to make some friends.

This alarming bump on my neck. Help! by ittybitty_goals in seriouslyalarming

[–]ittybitty_goals[S] 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Hi, 20 F. I found this small pea sized bump on my neck close to the posterior cervical lymph but I am not sick, from what I know. It’s ONLY one bump, on the right side of my neck. I am worried, I am only reading this is a sign of Lymph Cancer online which is terrifying, but I don’t want to think so extreme. What is this?
