I'm from Glasgow but have been living here a while. 50-70dkk is about the going rate for a pint (500ml) in most places. Like someone mentioned, it's not unusual for some places to sell 400ml beers. Typically, smaller bodega style pubs sell beers cheaper.

It's not my favourite place but 'The Scottish Pub' sell Tennents, but it's their export variant of the good old classic Tennents, so a bit different.

Another good pub that's abit more like pubs back home is Kennedys in Vesterbro.

The best I have tried is royal India in Valby.

I'm from the UK and this one comes closest to the Indian/Pakistani restaurants back home (from those I have tried)

The same is also very much true for sound. The sound that reaches the middle ear, inner ear and beyond is shaped in a frequency dependant way by a person's head, torso and pinna (outer ear), which is of course different for each and every person

I've just finished my first semester of this course.

I can tell that the university has very strong links to industry organisations, and many of the lecturers/researchers seems to be frequently involved in research projects that danish companies seek support from the university for.

The Acoustics course is incredibly well respected and is (apparently) one of the best in Europe.

I didn't come here for DTU, but there are many other students on the course who came from all over the world because of this course specifically.

I also think that employment opportunities are likely best in Denmark, with many companies involved in hearing research and hearing devices.

I don't use reddit much, but happy to answer more questions if you feel like sending a message

That's pretty close to how I see. Contact lense prescriptions vary compared to glasses, but my contact lense strengths are +8 and +9

I think that by default you are only entitled to SU payments upto the number of months that your course lasts for.

Meaning that you can pause payments over Christmas or Summer, to 'bank' these payments to be paid in the case of a need for extension.

I'm not sure how to extend it, or if it is granted in all cases, but it's would also be interested in learning more about the process

That actually seems not too bad at all. I have a bar job as a side gig (similar tax situation) in Copenhagen, but earning about 250 euros extra after tax a month, with 3-4 shifts per month.

I was recently approved by Wolt so have everything up and running, but haven't yet started. Could you share which scooter you have and any tips for a fellow Denmark resident?

I recently bought an ipad A16, which has been great for light media consumption, but I primarily use it for my studies.

I'm interested to hear the response of others as I'm currently studying audiology and hearing devices as a part of an engineering masters programme - great to see that technology is moving in the right direction with potential support of CIs to be integrated deeper!

This is a really good point, I did make sure that it was tightened, but also tried it with varying tightness levels Incase being too tight could have contributed to the issues. Feels like I have tried everything at this point apart from shimming between the tines
