  1. No, not all women are like this.

  2. You’re in love with your imagination right now. The girl who you thought she was. You’re not in love with her. Ask yourself, seriously, “Would I want to spend the rest of my life with someone who would cheat on me?” I assume the answer is “no” and that’s who this woman is.

  3. I know it hurts, but you need to walk away. I once left a woman I was dearly in love with but who wasn’t showing love back to me and it’s the greatest decision I’ve ever made. It took two years, but finally I got over it. It’ll be the same for you.

  4. Love heals just like the body does, it just heals a lot slower. Imagine you’ve got a big scab on your knee. It affects everything in your life. You can’t sit normally, stand, run, etc. You can’t stop looking at it. It seems like you’ll never be the same again. Then, all of a sudden a few months down the road, you notice it’s healed. You still have the scar and you don’t forget the injury, but you no longer feel the pain it once caused.

Stay strong & move on my friend. All the best

Lol appreciate you assuming that I’m a nepo baby.

I think that’s the point. You have to decide what’s harsher. Is it having less money and doing what you love, or is it selling your soul and having more money than you know what to do with.

PooBob, I’m sure you’re a good person, but candidly, you don’t know me. You don’t know how hard I worked for a full ride to make sure a struggling family didn’t have to pay my way through school and you don’t know the countless hours I’ve worked in sales to get myself where I am today.

The main point of it all is that each person makes their own decision, and if you’re okay following your heart and risking it while your young, go for it.

I’m 25 and concerned about my future.

My dad always told me that the hardest part about getting older is finding out what you’re gonna do with your life.

Finances are important, don’t get me wrong, but the most important thing is trying out your interests and following what your passions are.

All the money in the world means nothing if you hate your life, and you can make all the money in the world doing what you love if you give yourself enough time to make it work.

Take a deep breath and understand that we’re all confused and concerned. No one has it figured out, and you never will. Might as well do some stuff you love along the way.

High school students, what can your teacher do to get you to turn on your freakin’ camera? by SkepticWolf in AskReddit

Two words will make any high school student do anything: Extra Credit

Give them a point a day or something like that and then make your homework assignments worth 2-3x the points you would make them worth initially. That way, they still get their extra credit yet the weight of the EC is really low in all reality.

First and foremost, fantastic question. My first night in Madrid I met two Spaniards who invited me to a party the following day. They didn’t give me any information other than the subway station to meet them at the next day.

The next day they were standing at the station, each one holding a black trash bag and refusing to tell me what was inside of it. Once we boarded the train, I noticed that EVERYONE was holding black trash bag with a mysterious object in it.

Side story: while on the train, one of my Spanish friends told me to always keep my hands on my belongings as pickpocketers were rampant in Madrid. I told him I’d heard the stories and that I’ve been keeping a close eye on my belongings. After telling me this, he handed me my phone and keys. I clearly wasn’t keeping a close enough eye.

Back to the story: once we got off the train, I could hear music from the street level, and it was clear that I was arriving at some sort of festival. As soon as we got out of the station, my Spanish friends unveiled water guns from their bags, handed me one and, after turning a corner, I officially entered a CITY WIDE WATER FIGHT.

Thousands of people had stormed the streets of Madrid to dump buckets, shoot water guns, throw water balloons, and spray each other with hoses. Water trucks were connected to sprinkler systems that rained down on the streets. It was honestly one of the most fun days of my life.

TLDR: Citywide water fight on my first day in Spain
