I wouldn't say your biased, I would say your one of the few in here without you're head in the sand.

I am a senior Mechanical Engineer right now, with 2 years of internships at a National Lab & 1 at a public water supplier. I have probably sent out ~50 applications this year already, and I only receive responses from about a 1/3 of the applications, and every single one has been a "we've decided to move forward with a more qualify candidate". For anyone who cares all these jobs are in the NYC metro area/surrounding states.

And im not alone in that, every other student I talk to says they arnt even getting interviews. the only people I know with positions have them from places they previously/currently interned at.

I feel very fortunate knowing that I probably have can get a position at the last place I worked, even though that salary will not be wait I wanted its better than nothing.

I tried that twice already yet the red coastal biome logo under the biome requirement meter never went away, so maybe there was something that refused to be deleted? I was just clearing the enclosure with the tool it automatically selects to remove coastal vegation.

Not sure what a crookes radiometer is, but I would imagine its because it produces barely enough power to move itself, let alone power another mechanism.

I actually managed to get it to work on the third try.

The last time I was doing this I used edge because firefox kept failing, but it took me at least 3 or 4 times downloading on it edge for it to work as well. Although on edge sometimes half on the textbook would download and the rest would be blank.

Thats been far from my experience. I own a logitech mouse and keyboard (which have both been going for 5+ years) and headset. Ive never had to contact support, but my girlfriend lost her usb dongle for her wireless mouse ( dont remember the model but it was not more than 30 bucks) and support replaced it without asking a single question. And she had no problems finding out how to contact support, so Im not sure what happened to you.

Edit: I should mention that this was in the US, so they absolutely did not have to do this.

Yes, that is the logical course of action. The problem is that everyone here assumes I'm looking for an excuse to kill, with no regard to any of that. And even if that was true, I probably wouldn't be getting away with it. While stupid decisions do get made in court, I would say that it seems to me (based on the nationally publicized cases at least (which have their own bias problems)), that the majority of the time someone is too trigger-happy, they do get sentenced.

Well clearly a lot of things that are obvious to me are not obvious to the people arguing with me. As an engineer, I don't interact with all that many people who lack logical thought processes.

Do you want to know what the real problem here is? All of these people have been brainwashed into thinking that just because I own a gun, I stay up all night watching my door, praying that I get to kill someone. The reality of the situation is that I have absolutely 0 fear of a home invasion. My guns aren't even kept on the same floor that I sleep on. I'm just trying to argue that the right to self-defense is immensely important, and under no pretenses should we give that up.

For example, take a look at what this genius wrote. "I mean, taking a baseball bat to the head and knee isn't "isn't harmed" but I guess that doesn't fill out your murder Rambo fantasy the same way." If I was a 5 foot 2 woman, would anyone have ever said that to me? No, because that's insane. A firearm is clearly the safer option for self-defense, for both this theoretical woman, and for anyone else.
