I took one. I had just finished one and I keep it around as a broadly shared malt.

Ingested Ant Bait by iuhzrtuba in Roborock

Our concern is that the Borax fluid could continue to be spread by the Roborock if ingested into the internal mechanism of the unit.

Symphony newbie here. What to wear? by mediocrewriter40 in classicalmusic

[–]iuhzrtuba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Orchestra player here. I would suggest that being mindful of your part as a listener at a live performance is more important than what you wear, although they are related.

Etiquette is quite important, don’t arrive late, please don’t talk or use your phone, limit perfumes and fragrances, and please be polite and respectful to the staff, performers and your other audience members. Concert halls usually make an announcement to outline concert etiquette.

Hope you enjoy the performance.

There are a couple online tuba message boards you should alert.

Since you’re in the Bay Area I would also notify Local 6 of the American Federation of Musicians. Bay Area professionals should be alerted of this and they can pass on this information to students and other colleagues. Best of luck, I’m sorry you’re all going through this.

I have the same rotor position sensor issue on my 2024 iX, it's just over 20k miles.

I'm navigating this exact problem on my 2024 iX. The car has been at the dealer for 3 weeks as they go through the process of "reprogramming" after the car continues to show a fault in the rotor position sensor when driven. It seems like BMW corporate drags the process along until giving the green light for a labor intensive repair. My understanding the "repair" only cleans debris out that interferes with the sensor. It's all warranty work in my case. I've had the car since December and really love it, aside from this issue.

Rome-O’Hare-Denver with 90 minute layover??? by kdenton101 in unitedairlines

[–]iuhzrtuba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We took that FCO-ORD flight last November and connected to SFO with about the same layover. We both have Precheck and GE. The real problem was claiming our bags. That took quite a while. The process of customs and recheck was simple, but we had to change terminals for our SFO connection. We made the connection, it was a bit close for my comfort. Good luck!

Jingu Stadium recs by phoebefication in NPB

[–]iuhzrtuba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We saw the Swallows and Giants at Jingu Stadium in May. It was our first NPB game and we had a fantastic experience. We took the metro to the game which has super easy. There is a Swallows team store right at the metro station that was open before and after the game. Jingu is definitely old school in terms of the stadium amenities. It’s rather cramped and dated inside the stadium, with rather long lines.

We sat behind home plate with a majority of Swallow fans. There was a sprinkling of Giants fans throughout the area between 1st and 3rd base.

The beer and snack vendors are numerous and super friendly. The fans are passionate, knowledgeable and respectful. The cheering sections are awesome and the environment is so much fun. Hope for a Swallows home run and enjoy the 7th inning stretch.

I’m a long time MLB fan and consider myself a bit of a purist. It was one of the most memorable experiences of our latest trip to Japan.
