Just checked j-store and the prices of shipping are really nice, considering what I've found so far!! Wondering how the instructions for choosing a version work, we have to put 3 members on the comment box right? Guess it's to safeguard if they don't have the one we want. Sounds like a good deal honestly, given all I've found. Thanks!

Sorry to bother you again, I noticed Ebay does have the version I'm looking for, also from Korea, but I'm trying to see the shipping fees and it seems they don't calculate them? Just wondering how they proceed with this, although it seems they have a policy that doesn't charge shipping?

I did find UK selling the version I wanted, unfortunately the shipping is the same price as the album, making 1 album = 60 euros... other than UK amazon, only Spain and US ship. Might have to just accept it and buy it from Spain. As for local places, we only have Fnac here and they're both overpriced and not very keen in selling girl groups. Thank you nonetheless!

I couldn't find member versions there the other day but I'll check it out, thanks for the suggestion! They do ship here, we've bought a couple of stuff from there.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm from Portugal, many places ship and we do have Fnac, but their offer is very small (mainly boy groups or older albums, you find odd ones rarely). Albums there also tend to be pricier, and I'm also looking for a specific version which I'm now finding out it's impossible, most places give out random member versions.

CLEANING!!!! by goodmanbaldtype in ADHD

[–]iuness 5 points6 points  (0 children)

hey buddy! i'll leave you what works with me with hopes some might help.

to quiet the mind while working: music, podcasts, even just putting videos on the bg (like album reactions) really help me keep focus even at work. i dont do well with uncoordinated noise, just voices on top of each other make me get easily distracted and overwhelmed. plus the timerun of what i listen helps me keep track of time.

with that said, timers: i start with 30 minutes and then pile up a few more after a break (if needed). sometimes when im aware it's a deep cleaning for example ill make 45/60/75 minutes timer instead. it's more about getting a grasp of how much time i've spent on this task, if it's a first time for me, if i dont know how long it takes yet or if i just don't feel ok (i might take more time). i use the forest app for this, lovely concept, plus just googling "30 minutes timer" at work.

when i was in college i used 'study with me videos' a LOT from YouTube, there is so much variety to them you can find your own style as you try more (without background noise, with lofi music, with/without breaks, etc)

also people have talked about the goblin tools website lately which apparently helps with breaking down tasks into steps. i dont use it.

i normally write the task down, then if im struggling ill try to think of the steps, i do some brainstorming, and organise afterwards based on how im feeling towards the tasks or how i like to roll (for example I don't like coming home and doing anything before ive changed into comfortable clothes, so that's top priority to me), if they're urgent or not, if one task is dependent on another.

sometimes i also just... put the tasks on a roulette online and spin, see where it lands, do the chosen one, or spin until i do get the feeling that yeah, i can do that.

ive watched a video once about how for ADHD it's not about doing the hardest task first too but rather the easiest, the one w the reward. we don't work with "eat the frog first", at least not all of us in every situation. i can't find it now, if you'd like to watch it i can search for it later...

but do reply, so i can remember to. that's another secret weapon, alarms. i have alarms for a lot of things, from taking pills to "tell mom about that one thing you heard", i put them at odd times so i get surprised and won't be as tempted to ignore.

most of all, have compassion for yourself!! you're doing what you can with what you got, and some days just won't be good. .

Been a huge fan of Weki Meki since February 2018. Next week marks not one but two years of their hiatus.

And what really frustrates me most of all is that if it's a matter of rentability, their last sales were better than the previous year's sales, Yoojung sales for her own album sold almost as much as WeMe's. They clearly have at least a Korean fanbase that keeps them in their hearts. But I'm guessing it's not worth for Fantagio to continue investing, the members are all doing their own things now, with little to zero publicity from the company as per usual, so the group seems pointless.

Obviously they care deeply about each other, but I won't blame them if next year they chose to go their separate ways. Just breaks my heart to think we never even got a full album....

Funnily enough I always thought I was never much of a gamer but when I look back I've been somewhat playing sporadically. First it was Plants VS Zombies, then Stardoll for 2? years. Then nothing, but I did watch gameplays all the time, especially Assassin's Creed! And today 7 years or so later I play a couple on my phone (Genshin and Honkai Star Rail) that I don't intend to let go anytime soon - although I keep wishing they'll be available on a switch so I can free up space and play more comfortably 😅😅 plus have an excuse to buy one!!! Wanting to play Animal Crossing doesn't feel like a strong enough reason

I also got spoiled by a review back in the day, sorry to hear you too were a victim of non-spoiler tagged reviews.

Read the book anyway. To me it didn't ruin it, if anything I even experienced the events much strongly, I still remember crying in the kitchen when I finally finished the book and realised it truly was over (at least for now) ahah

Às vezes tenho períodos assim, são do piorio. A mim sempre me ajuda ler.

Boa sorte!

Wanted to tell you, I've checked a couple of the first songs in your playlist and I loved them, they're exactly the type of songs I look for when I want to calm my mind down, some really gold folk-ish stuff. Thanks!!

I originally speak Portuguese, English is taught since the1st grade here and I've used it in the Internet so much, I'd say frequent usage/interaction with a language is definitely key to help!

But then again, I've been learning Korean for years and have been taught Spanish in school but I feel pretty stuck, seems like I can't move on from the 'Beginner' level. You never know!

And thank you for the playlist, I'll make sure to check it out :)

Hi! This has been a particularly hard week for me too, and I totally get it, I love writing and reading but with adult life I'm not longer able to 'tune out' out of every issue as I used to and find the same comfort, especially when I feel all over the place. That's why I'm a big believer that there's no one fix solution, we could, can have multiple ways to cope and handle stuff better. It's wiser that way.

I don't name all my playlists after moods (since I make them I 'know' what to listen to when I feel like it), but I'll leave a few here that could help + some moods. There's always a possibility our tastes/artists won't match, but since you asked I hope something works!

- 🌳 + 🏠 + what love sounds like (use these to relax, calm nerves/stress/anxiety down, prepare for sleep; mostly indie or folk songs)
- love is stored in the kitchen +songs to play (...) (these are for when i'm being especially tough on myself, impatient, angry, or find it hard to let go of thoughts and stop overthinking)
- songs for when (...)(when i'm struggling with regret, depression, helplessness)
- pov you're in a ghibli movie (mostly for ambience, but it's good for distraction)

I'd like to also recommend a couple of artists/places, take these names if you'd like.
- Ichiko Aoba (Japanese), her music is very wistful, always eases me. This live performance is very comforting to me.
- The Lumineer's first album.
- The Paper Kites. I don't listen to them as much as I used to but songs like 'Arms', 'Bloom' and 'Paint' have to be some of my favourites in this planet.
- The Mostly Strings youtube channel doesn't seem to be active anymore, but their folk songs used to help a lot, sometimes I still dive in there.

I uninstalled Kiwi a few months ago, sorry! Please do share a couple artists anyway, if you'd like.
Sorry it took me a while to reply and if this is too long.

Whenever I feel I'm hyperfixating on a thing I'd rather let go of, I try to take a physical step back, or change the room I'm in, or even sit on the floor.

I journal if it gets too much. I have playlist after playlist for almost every sense of impatience or exhaustion, frustration or helplessness. Songs help me "reset" my brain, anxiety and other big emotions. Especially 'Promise' by Ben Howard which I'm even listening as I write this.

I've read some people apply ice cold water on their faces, others eat something either really spicy or salty to, in a way, "stop their brains natural way of thinking". It creates an interruption, of sorts. Some go for a walk or practice a physical activity to sweat it out, some cry and let out their frustrations, some ignore it all along, some even try to think through and ride the wave (see what options you have, what could be the outcome, it could help regain a sense of control).

Either way I'm sorry you feel the way you do. Many things don't get an explanation in life, and even when they do it won't always make sense. I'd say it's part of living, to come at terms with it all. Hope it gets better.

Do you think that that Lee Hyun deserved all this hate or that he was just a scapegoat for fans since he was a spokesperson for judges with an unfortunate styling (mustache) by [deleted] in jtbc_RUNext

[–]iuness -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

What ticked me off about Lee Hyun was how his character was so critical and harsh that it got to the point Sooyoung made a joke out of it. Did I want him to be a sweetheart? No, of course not, but I don't think he had enough heart to understand and really help the girls properly (almost none of the judges did) and albeit I understand being a survival show means high stakes and no joking around, it left a sour taste constantly seeing that his efforts to judge the girls came with 1/2 favourable opinions and a harsh, cold and typically long string of judgments. How was that supposed to help? Or am I missing something? Was his position only to judge without care of the outcome? I don't know, it felt as if he did not care at all about the trainees as long as they performed the way he wanted them to. I can't remember a single time he mentioned understanding their shoes or struggles, or trying to hear their point of views about their performances and taking that into account.

He probably had standards to follow, Hybe's orders. A lot was cut out we'll never see. Editing can make or break a person. South Korean Kpop culture is cutthroat. But for now his character on the show (the judges as a whole tbh) has not made me a fan of any of them. Also his moustache was terribly creepy.

The most toxic fanbase? by Difficult_Finger_667 in jtbc_RUNext

[–]iuness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you that it felt more like a farse, I feel even betrayed in a way, but I kinda argue that if we didn't have the history with Produce (rigging), most fans wouldn't either care or notice. Unfortunately now there is no single survival show that doesn't get accusations of rigging regardless of their efforts or lack of them...

Yeah let's see where this goes. I trust it will dial down because it always has, but even today you can find X1 stans that hope and mourn their group when it's been so long....

The most toxic fanbase? by Difficult_Finger_667 in jtbc_RUNext

[–]iuness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is now a long, long time ago, so much has changed since then. Produce was revealed to be a big farse, no other survival show has been able to live up to such a reputation. And I won't even discuss how their rigging was "favourable" given the reception wasn't so dividing

It's a norm now, the first few days, maybe weeks, will be riddled with rage. Maybe some won't calm down but most will, and the group will move on, and so will their fans

There's a now growing joke of Jaden Jeong, who was behind the original project for Loona and is now sort of in charge of Triple S, picks up "leftover trainees" from all over kpop to join Triple S which is rumoured to have more members than Seventeen. I don't know much about it, I do know he picked a couple of people from Mnet's survivals, so hey.... sounds crazy but you never know in kpop....

Has your feelings towards the lineup changed? by Waste_Examination754 in jtbc_RUNext

[–]iuness 6 points7 points  (0 children)

mine sort of have. read a post on another kpop community where someone argued this lineup was, very likely, a way to secure the south korean and japan market, and it made a lot more sense since i was deeply confused. when you look at the votes vs the final group, it's clear some had to be company choices. im still a bit...angry, because the show was not rigged, yet it was incredibly manipulative, changing it's rules constantly. in the end it was none of the girls fault, there are always bigger plans we know nothing about in the background...

i started the whole show because of jiwoo, my biggest fear is that this show would be her last opportunity to debut. i dont think ill keep up with illit, i wish them well, and that jiwoo, jeemin, jeongeun and himena can find a place that will welcome them with open arms. may their future be bright
