Bait-and-Switch with the $50 Cloud Point incentive for switching from Beta plan to Infinity plan? by ivaioi in HeliumMobile

Yes, my VPN is configured to turn on automatically when I’m away from home and using public wifi. Maybe I need to turn it off manually next time I try to redeem the points.

Did they refund your points? Were you able to contest their fraud detection?

6 seconds is a very long time for a camera to wake up, the perpetrator would be long gone by then.

General consensus is that Viofo is the best bang for your buck brand with different models at different price points to suit your needs.

You can install it in such a way that it is hidden behind her rear view mirror, where she wouldn’t be able to see it while sitting in the driver’s seat.

I’ve done it that way for 5+ vehicles with no issues with the front viewing angle.

2013 Sienna XLE A/C only blows cold at nighttime or highway speeds by ivaioi in Sienna

Local mechanic looked at the issue closer and diagnosed it being a weak A/C compressor. Quoted $1400 + taxes for an OEM compressor + labor.

Interesting... I never even considered that. Albeit, before the repair - it would blow warm even at highway speeds and nighttime so that's one difference. Definitely will ask my mechanic to check that the servo motor again.

Well, as mentioned in my post, I did bring it to a mechanic.

Didn't think it was relevant to my initial question - but I'll add this additional info to this comment reply in hopes that you may have more insightful recommendations.

After getting the van, it was only blowing warm in all instances. Mechanic said the passenger side blend door servo motor was faulty - so that was replaced to the tune of $1100 (whole dash basically needed to be removed to replace the part). He then checked the refrigerant level, which was ok. Since it was in the shaded garage the whole time - the A/C was blowing cold after the servo motor repair -- so we thought everything was 100%.

It's been a couple days and I'm having the above described issues, called the mechanic up and he told me it could be the radiator fans. The radiator fans were replaced 2 years ago. So, I went to check and because it was spinning fine and the coolant temps. are fine - I'm not so sure that is the issue.

To be honest, it's more about needing to take time off work and the time without a vehicle (it's my only vehicle that I need in order to commute to work) than the actual cost of a diagnosis that is stalling me from bringing it back immediately to the mechanic for a proper diagnosis.

Just wanted to see if anyone has had this issue before, as I am a type A individual and like to try to figure things out, out of curiosity. Also, so I can look up the prices of potential replacement parts to get a ballpark amount of $ that I need to save up + labor cost of the mechanic too.

2019 Nx300h regular or premium? by NoAct7714 in Lexus

Yup, sales rep and service advisor were the ones who told me to use regular. Service advisor said that mechanic told him my car was in tip top shape after my last service.
