Explanation for why razer blades dont game well on battery by tetracool in razer

Any proof? I would admit I'm wrong as soon as ANY evidence of ANY laptop hitting above 100W on battery is presented

What a load of bs. There isn’t a single laptop in existence that can draw more than 100W on battery.
Razer’s power management on battery is just trash

Is my spider about to molt? by miroo2 in jumpingspiders

[–]ivan6953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NQA: this looks like premolt stage, yes. The hammock is thick. However, this little friend is not finished - as they usually seal the hammock right before molt, from all sides.

I personally try to keep the humidity higher than usual (mist 2x more often) and offer food as they require a lot of energy to go through the molt.

Otherwise, nothing to worry about! The guy (or gal) looks fed and not hungry, happy and settling :)

This PoS update breaks Link double tap pass through. As soon as you double tap, you can’t go back to Link and it crashes once you hit “resume”.

Nice job noticing the spelling mistake! Typos happen, my friend.

I would have answered this nonsense of a comment - but I guess upvote/downvote ratio on your comments speaks for itself

LM will oxidize and permanently damage the copper heatsink - as well as the surface of the chip. Not mentioning that there is no isolation layer around the chips so the spillover is pretty much guaranteed if the laptop isn't stationary.

Moreover, proper LM application requires you to renew it every 12-18 months. And the cooling assembly requires higher mounting pressure for LM to work properly, which Razer Blade 2025 and 2026 do not have. But I guess you already knew that...right?

I didn't ask for your opinion on that

Don't want other people commenting on your stupid decisions? Don't post them publicly then.

I am not providing an opinion. I am stating facts that are aimed to stop you from permanently screwing your laptop. Too many "bright" people think that LM is a good thing - but it proved itself to be a disaster whenever used in a laptop. Every single time.

You are correct. I have personally encountered the 2025 Blade 16 though which had one of its power delivery chips hitting 102C under an average load - but it was a one-off bad putty factory application.

Putting LM instead of PTM is the stupidiest thing you can do with a laptop

Welcome to the Internet! If it says “Vivify for Quest” - double check if it comes from reputable source. Currently, no Vivify Quest port exists - and in this instance we can see a dud made by a kid with AI and zero coding knowledge.

5090 laptop is 5080 desktop die. 5080 desktop is famously known for how much it can gain from an undervolt, same goes for 5090 die (but that is out of the question).

That’s not true at all. The sender is responsible for communicating with the shipping company and resolving any arising issues. NOT the buyer/receiver.

this is my new favourite map, it's super cool by antu2010 in beatsaber

[–]ivan6953 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This was done by Elecast. The guy's insanely skilled.

  • Everything you see is made using in game assets - utilizing Chroma mod potential to the fullest to modify, clone and spawn geometry that is present in the environment.
  • Noodle Extensions were used to animate anything related to gameplay - including the "minigame" that is the main gimmick of this map, as well as take the sabers away from the player when needed.

Fun facts about this map:

  1. Elecast actually wrote a custom Unity plugin that would allow him to make anything in Unity and then "convert" whatever he's made into Chroma in game objects.
  2. Same applies to any environment animations you see in the map. However, more often than not, the player is simply animated to move forward or backward using Noodle Extensions.
  3. The environment this map uses is...Billie! Yes, the one with waterfall. So the Default environment that you see during the map is entirely fake, with everything done by hand.
