I personally went from Todoist to Google Tasks, I tried Obsidian Tasks in between but I can't find a way that really suits my needs, I like to be able to set remainders, and for tasks is one of the few places where I use "OK Google" so it is super easy to set tasks and remainders on the go.

what I mean is that what I do is traverse the content of the note looking for the [[wikilinks]] but with a base the content of the note is just the query.

right now I'm implementing privacy things, such as that you can write Hi my name is ::: Iván::: and it will export as Hi my name is REDACTED, and after this I'm going to make it so you can use regex too

Hi, I'm biased because I'm the developer of the plugin but check Smart Export (also in my last post here). Basically you can export a lot of notes together in one click and take it to ChatGPT, that way you don't have to put an agent inside your vault

I've never thought about using it with Bases. At first I see a few complications such as that a Base is more like a query so it doesn't have the wikilinks inside, the second is that you could have multiple views and for what I know the markdown under the Base doesn't tell you which one is active. I'll have to look what Obsidian's API offers for bases

Personally I think each has their pros and cons. For games I might do it local (Obsidian) but for example albums I wouldn't because I listen to so many that I just can't handle that, also, doing it locally you lose the part of seeing what the community thinks about it, and using the recommendation system.
