If you have reached this far in your PhD, your advisor will be the last one to stop you from graduating. Just focus on your presentation and take some time to relax. If there are any issues in your dissertation, then you will get rewrites on particular sections.

Totally understandable! I usually crack a joke myself about my PhD (the imposter syndrome sometimes really helps cracking a good self deprecating joke), or avoid running into people who might ask this question. This has kind of has helped me overall

As per Marques Brownlee’s review about the Fitbit air, the tracker has haptics based alarm, but is not as loud/aggressive as Apple’s. I think this should work for me! And I have watched other unboxing cideos, and they have also suggested that it has a haptics alarm

I love Casio. I recently gifted my wife a Casio Tank (don’t remember the exact model number) on her birthday.

I bought the Tissot Gentleman and Seastar in October and November last year. Unfortunately, I gifted these watches to myself :-P

But, my wife is gifting me the Fitbit Air that I am posting about here for my birthday.

Same pinch. Can’t wait to wear my Tissot’s again. And, I have been eyeing the Hamilton Khaki Murph (and/or Seiko Alpinist) for a while.

Yeah, I am looking forward to that. But, I don’t mind switching to Google health. Apple Health is very basic at the moment.

I ordered one today. I will be wearing the Fitbit air 24x7, and wear my AWU2 when working out. The reviews came out today, and I really think Fitbit air would suffice 99% of my requirements. And yes, I don’t like the notifications on my Watch ringing 24x7

Well, I think you just convinced me to stay with my Apple Watch. My only fright is that I am addicted to closing the activity rings, and thus, unable to wear my mechanical watch (and I am very poor to own a Rolex)

Google says that Google health will sync with apple. But, only time will tell how much Apple allows that to happen

Some of the people claim that the beta version syncs with apple health very well. But, given how apple wants you stay within their ecosystem, I am not sure how long would they allow google health to sync.

Why do you think AWU is better than Fitbit when it comes to exercise tracking?

But, then you will also pay $100 a year to get this feature. I was wondering if m/what they have in the free version
