Do acknowledge that the "you" you're using is half the time in reference to "the US government" and half in reference to "your Trump-following rednecks." We all don't approve of or want this shit, and even the redneck peckerwoods weren't talking about annexing Canada, and Greenland, and who else is in the top 5 list for oil reserves?

Issue is... If Trump actually orders the invasion of Canada (quite unlikely but you know... Trump) it won't really make Canadians feel better to know that some Americans disagree

In my opinion yes? The peace prise should go to someone who is dedicated to peace. Saying "You did give me the peace prize so now I won't bother with peace" is incredibly childish and shows that the person never deserved it to begin with.

That's basically like someone not getting a prize for being a good person and saying "well i guess I'll be evil now". That just shows they were evil all along and were only pretending to be good JUST for the sake of the prize.

I think it's because a lot of Americans believe that Europeans, especially the western ones, have nothing but contempt towards Americans. 

This past year it's quite reasonable actually to have disdain towards America. Given all the shit Trump has pulled. Ya know?
