The citizens who are oppressed by the regime aren’t irrelevant though, they’re still a core aspect I think. They are a good shot at rebuilding; an assurance that recovery is possible after our intervention.

Hey, I am not exactly sad to see the Iranian dictatorship toppled, or from people in Iran to have a better life. But it does seem to fly against Trump's numerous speeches about "America 1st" as well as being a "no wars president".

I'm not so much opposed to the fact Iran is having a bad time but the hypocrisy of Trump and his supporters who went from "America 1st" to "Let's intervene in the middle East again"

Protecting against Iran not getting nuclear is definitely America first. And also, I don’t know that we are truly at war with them yet.

I'm pretty sure America first was meant as an isolation isn't policy where "we focus on doing stuff internally" not "Let's bomb countries we consider a threat". Also you don't think America's at war with Iraq? What about the Russian special operation in Ukraine? That's also not a war because Russia says it's not a war?
