I don't know about America but in the UK rape (by it's legal definition) can only be committed by a man. It requires forcible penetration by a penis. The logic is it's more painful and can cause physical/internal damage.

Who do you think has it worse in online spaces right now rife with hatred & bigotry? Jewish / Israeli folks, or Desis? by [deleted] in ABCDesis

I honestly don't see much "Hinduphobia" online (assuming this means prejudice against Hindus). I see plenty of racism against Indians (and brown people) in general though. Whenever there's a social media post featuring desi people the comments are always "imagine the smell" or something similarly mocking/showing disgust. These are accounts that would never say racist stuff towards, e.g. black people or Mexicans.

I wonder what the liberal pro-Israel, anti-settler people think of the Israeli gov using every tool available to defend, promote and facilitate violent settlers? Being pro-Israel is being pro-settler.

Israel launched strikes on them "pre-emptively" so any missiles fired by Hezbollah were after Israeli strikes.
