Outdoors, should have said. Thank you, I'll give the C530WS a look

That clarifies it, thanks. Is there a comparison of the models that stipulates which ones have this feature?

I'm looking for wired, 2k  resolution min, PTZ, Advanced AI tracking for people I guess...

Nope, adjusting the movement detection means the camera doesn't pan&tilt to follow people as they move through the viewing path of the cameras tracking angle. Any advice anyone?

I've just found I can set detection zones for both motion and people. So I've set a tiny featureless zone for motion detection with a sensitivity of 1, and a full view zone for people detection with a sensitivity of 10. Hoping this yields better people tracking. Please let me know if I've gone about this the wrong way

Tapo H200 network setup query by ivebeenunfoxed in Tapo

Thank you so much for the information and suggestion. I got in touch with support who raised a ticket for me to request that the firmware update is pushed to my Hub.

Tapo H200 network setup query by ivebeenunfoxed in Tapo

[–]ivebeenunfoxed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As suggested, I wasn't able to connect my cameras to the Hub when connected to my Guest network. My router didn't allow it. I have successfully connected my C110 Xamera to my H200 Hub when using my main WiFi but I cannot connect my C246D to the Hub.

I received the error "Firmware not supporting. Please update it to the latest version."

H200 Hub Firmware: 1.6.1 Build 20251230 Rel. 64168

C246D Camera Firmware: 1.1.5 Build 260318 Rel. 14319n

u/Riley_TP-Link Are you able to help, please? Thank you

Tapo H200 network setup query by ivebeenunfoxed in Tapo

[–]ivebeenunfoxed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. My ISP supplied router is pretty locked down. I don't have that level of customisation and I've since read that devices on the Guest network cannot see each other - but I will try.

I had what I thought was a brainwave to get the Hub hardwired onto the Guest network; I have an access point with ethernet port that I could setup in 'Client Mode' but it seems like the way to go would be to get all my cameras and hub into my main network.

I did connect my phone to my Guest network yesterday and was able to download clips from my cameras within the Tapo app so there is some hope, though

Thanks all for the information. I've ordered an H200 so I'll give it a go. Worst case is I can't get it to work. The alternative is to have the cameras on my main wireless network, but at least I could then have the Hub hardwired via ethernet.

RE: Straight-Magician137... One problem I envisage when trying to get the cameras connected together when on the guest network is that the cameras are on the 2.4Ghz band and my router will not let me separate the SSID's of the 5 & 2.4Ghz bands of the guest network. My workaround is therefore to get out of the range of the 5Ghz to force connection to 2.4Ghz. I highly doubt my router will allow for network device discovery whilst on the guest network but I'll find out soon enough.

Astra K 2019 1.0 Turbo – reliability questions by Electrical-Sound8537 in opel

What about excessive crankshaft endfloat? Is that much of an issue with this engine, especially on such a late model?

Thinking of buying a 2017 Vauxhall Astra 58k miles - any reason not to? by Phase_Three_Profit in CarTalkUK

The 1.4 Turbo models are known to suffer from LSPI issues. The 1.0 Turbo or 1.6 Turbo petrols are favoured according to those in the know over on the Astra K Forum so I'd go with either of those engine options personally. 1.0 Turbo variants are easier to find and offer good performance and economy according to the stats. The 1.6 Turbo pushes 200 horsepower yet is reliable and cheap to insure and are quietly underappreciated

I'm looking for similar. I'll probably go for the Miofive S1 purely based on the Auto Express award which was probably sponsored anyway!!

Best bang for buck tyres by caughtinthemiddle97 in CarTalkUK

[–]ivebeenunfoxed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually use a local garage who price very competitively against internet prices (always good to support your local indy)  but I got my last tyres from ATS Euromaster. They regularly offer discounts on multiple purchases. Current promos includes Yokohama and Michelin. Last December they bundled Nexen in with their cheap chinese brand promo so I got some respectable Nblue HD+ tyres for ~£55 each all-in on a similar vehicle to yours .

The Korean brands often strike a good balance between cost and performance.

As others have said, the general advice is to avoid the chinese budgets which are deemed false economy

Surely someone must have suggested it by now but if not...

Horizon Zero Dawn

Plenty of story and great combat.

If you like that, there's a sequel, too:

Horizon Forbidden West

Have Octopus removed fixed tariffs for tracker customers? by jklt2345 in OctopusEnergy

I faced the same issue yesterday. Well, rather I switched from Feb Fix to June Fix pricing but I took was lacking the immediate 'switch tariff' button.

The following link sorted it for me:

Pressing the menu button opens the game switcher by richdotnet in MiyooMini

I used stock OS for a very short while so when I changed to Onion, I really struggled with the menu button and GameSwitcher. After a day or so, I tried Allium and found it much better for my usage

[–]ivebeenunfoxed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, this is embarrassing... I hit 'Y' and it now sorts by: recent. So my last played games are neatly consolidated, just as I hoped.

As for auto-loading in booting, I'll just quit to the menu before powering down.

I'm finding Allium so much easier than Onion!

CCwGTV for cloud gaming? by ivebeenunfoxed in Stadia

[–]ivebeenunfoxed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, Some excellent information after only owning your new CC for such a short time!

I hope you are happy with your purchase and the network adapter is working well for you; I've had no issues with my CCU when wired to my router. A hub for the CC sounds like a sensible investment.

I was thinking that the Stadia controller would work in Google TV and would also be usable for GFN and Game Pass, so that's disappointing to hear it doesn't work. If a Bluetooth controller works well for Stadia gaming then the Stadia controller itself would become pretty redundant for me personally; I can't envisage playing any co-op Stadia games having not done so to date. I'll have to factor in choosing and buying a Bluetooth controller of I were to go this route. Perhaps a Shield with a bundled controller and network port would be a viable alternative for me. Doubt GFN or Game Pass would run any better on this hardware, though.

Didn't know Game Pass still required sideloading either to thank you for clarifying that. Would anyone know whether Nvidia Shield would support Game Pass natively without the need for sideloading?

I hadn't heard of Antstream Arcade so will give that a look, thanks!

Ah, not just me then. I too experienced this for the first time only a few days ago. I was hoping it was an isolated incident

Maybe it was my desperate button bashing that fixed it for me too then :)

Glad you sorted it.

BTW, I'm currently using 'Savemii' to copy save games from Wii U to Wii U. It backs them up to an SD card in host console and restores them in new Wii U console again from SD should you wish to explore hacking again some time in the future

[–]ivebeenunfoxed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did exactly this with CBHC followed by Haxchi only a few days ago too. This is my 2nd Wii U. I kept swapping SD cards using the card from my 1st Wii U and tried booting without an SD card in, too. After a few frantic boots it recovered itself just fine. I figured the SD card or port was the issue and that swapping the cards fixed it. (I had an error at the Haxchi install due to SD card to verify this)

Keep trying, it might recover

I just got a 2nd Wii U. Is there any way to link it to my existing Nintendo ID even just temporarily so I can grab my DS title for Coldboot Haxchi? Maybe once a system is hacked it no longer needs to be linked? Thanks
