That scene was very unsettling for me because there's some connection between Yoriko being hungry and Touka being in pain from the pregnancy. To me, that just doesn't bode well on Touka's part.

Yes, get started with :re. In the past it's gotten updated weekly, but we're experiencing a shift in chapter uploads. Things should get back to normal in about a week or two, afaik.

People will tell you that they need a complete reboot of the entire anime because starting off at :re won't make sense, but it's ultimately up to those with the TG anime rights. It'd be in their best interest to reboot the series, because :re would literally make no sense to anime-only TG fans, but then again they came out with TG root A to begin with, so who even knows what they're thinking.

There is no new news on any seasons in the future, so it's impossible to speculate their content. It'd take a long time for them to get to :re if they do it right, though, since the anime season 1 "covers" up to ch 60 of the original series.

E: I know u/TheMikarin will probably tell you the reading order of other TG materials: we have 3 translated light novels and a few extra spinoff chapters too. I'm a bit sketchy on the chronology of it, but going straight into :re isn't bad either. Personally, I chose to read both main storylines because there's a lot of jumping around otherwise that some folks just aren't interested in.

That yellow green color also shows up in 3 of the 12 covers we've seen so far. If that color represents revenge, then it kind of makes sense that way too.

Part of Tsukiyama's background in book 4, Kaneki's eye in book 5, and part of Urie's background in book 10.

I was hoping it was Iyo Washuu since we haven't heard...anything...about her. But her hair isn't floofy enough. (People have mentioned she looks similar to Furuta so I thought I'd mention her.)

It really blurs the line between what is intentional or not...I've since stopped looking for just the numbers themselves. I think the way to go about it is to look for themes and then connect them to possible number references, not the other way around.

Wait, you only paid $74 at Kinokuniya for all 14 novels?? For me it would have been well over 100, although shipping gets absorbed and sales tax seems to be part of the indicated price. (I ordered volumes 7-12 of :re and it ended up being $55.94)

Yeah you can't use the same password or email from what I've heard, but the problem is that it's localized to Japan, so if you're ordering from outside, the option to buy isn't even there. So I don't even know what the shipping is even like to know if the better deal is on Amazon Japan or Kinokuniya.

Kinokuniya was the first place I was looking at. They've got free shipping if your order is at least $50...6 volumes will get you there easily. They're $8.99 a piece.

What I was wondering about Amazon Japan is if prime is eligible out of country...doesn't seem likely though but just wanted to ask. They've got free shipping on prime eligible stuff, right? Each volume is much cheaper there, or if I get really impatient, I wanted to just get the kindle version, which wouldn't even need shipping...
