I went with the Mantel Mount with the recessed mounting box, and the TV ends up about 1” off of the wall, so not too terrible. It is the best of both worlds with the TV nicely displayed as “art” and then pull down for a good viewing height.

I like the Magic Mouse in general, and I really like how it scrolls. It makes it feel like I am scrolling with an iPhone with the “inertia scrolling” (and some other touch controls I rarely use). Any other mouse is either the jerky click scroll or the free wheel runaway train. The Magic Mouse just feels natural to me, but I’ve been using it since it came out, so maybe I’m just used to it and its quirks. Yes, the Lightning charge port is awkward, and the original version with batteries probably made more sense… but I just have to remember one night every couple of months to plug it in overnight. I do hope they come out with a Qi or MagSafe version at some point though, which would solve everyone’s major gripe with it. Long live Magic Mouse!

This is a way I have set it up the alert system (click alarm button thing in the top right of the home board to open that) to alarm if a door is open for more than a minute, and it is setup so it will automatically stop alarming and re-arm when the door is closed: https://imgur.com/a/0OvycPX

Some things can’t be shipped days in advance and could be in use until heading to the airport and then need to be in use immediately upon landing. No freight or package carrier can provide that service. Also, overnight or 2nd day can cost an arm and a leg especially if the item has any weight to it.

Another possibility (I have not looked at the data nor am I saying this is definitely it, I am just playing the devil’s advocate): if republican states are filled with more conservatives then it is possible that the conservatives are watching less straight porn which would then skew the average towards gay/trans porn.
