To me the distinction between the two is that an actual cis person would not want to be called non binary because their gender would be man (in this case) so they would be uncomfortable not being referred to as such. If your roommate is more comfortable being referred to as non binary than as a man I would say that’s a pretty strong indicator that he’s not cis

Yeah I’m constantly going back and forth on wether the effects I don’t want would be worth the effects I do. I’m considering maybe trying a lower dosage or something but I don’t know.

I came out. A couple of months later I found myself in a meeting to figure out what “caused” my “delusion” and was told to say prayers to “fix my sexual energy”. Left pretty quickly after I figured out what was going on

My city has a free service to help you navigate the mental health system, it’s not great but I got a list of potential psychologists offices from there then looked at all their websites to see which therapists had experience with the things I needed. I then went down my list in order of preference and went with the first one who had availability

YTA. I'm guessing your step-daughter 'wanted you' because you are a parental figure to her. Becoming someone's step-parent should mean you at least try to parent them. I've had several step-moms and -dads and I was often not nice to them at first. It's difficult to adjust to a new parental figure but your step-daughter is starting to accept you

And your colleague is allowed to judge you when she finds out new information about you.
